Great work, Danny. Before I came to MI in '97, Slash was my favorite guitarist...after coming to your weekly rock guitar class in the main auditorium, when you'd warm up with Little Wing or Crush of Love (w/Andy Megna on drums)....you shot right up there with Slash in my book. Now seeing you breakdown Slash's solos like this is really cool. Keep it coming :)

@licklibrary I am a complete beginner, i can read taps and play songs: Tenacious D - The Metal Intro, Highway to hell - ACDC, Hells Bells - ACDC, Muse - Plug in Baby Intro, Nirvana - Smells Like teen spirit intro... jeah, this is not much, but it is a begin ^^. But i am happy for every help i can become to learn to play faster and better.

You know what... I actually think that Slash did it by purpose. He placed Stradlin's theme at "Watch This". Since they're friends, I don't see any problem.

Hey, I've watched some of your videos here on youtube licklibrary! And I really enjoy it! I'm a fan of slash, so this dvd will I deffently buy! I can figure out easy songs, but not "nothing to say", great that you guys picked such a hard song to:) I'm also trying to learning how to shred, do you've got anything else then just song lessons? Learning by amatures here on youtube is ok, I appriciate them fo rdoing that, but I want to learn by proffesionals like you! Keep up the good lessons:)

Danny Gill is a great guitarist and certainly a good teacher, but when I hear his playing on this video, it's doesn't remind me the way Slash plays the guitar, 'cause it's not close enough to the sound, the feel and the soul of Slash...

But it can be hepful for players who don't wanna so close to the master!

1.- i never stated that slash is a bad player, hes great (not even near as for examploe Guthrie govan) but hes a cool guitar player /celebrity and a musician that has created history with music, i respect him.
