  • how do you tell a red head from a canvasback?

  • a few distinctions: red heads have blue on their bills. canvasbacks have black bills that are much longer and thicker. also, canvasbacks are much bigger ducks.

  • Redhead has a blue bill.... Cans have a black flat bill.. Cans are quite a bit bigger too.

  • In Denmark a redhead is called a taffel-and, "and" meaning duck, and "taffel" is and old danish word for "brilliant feast" or "princely meal", because it tastes so good. What you got their is a wonderful experiences for a danish hunter, only a few thousand taffel-ducks gets shot hear every year. Congratulations I am so jealous.
