They got radio4extra now and . I also liked the way the film had old picture of the building after seeing this film I do want to continue to get to the top in radio to get to BBC Radio & Tv

The more this is viewed, the more I think it must have inspired the Radio Parade of the next year with Will Hay . Radio Parade has several scenes that are straight copies and spoofs, and even features Eve Becke singing!! I was always surprised that Will Hay remained with the BBC after the Radio Parade jibes! but then he knew he was a big star and not likely to be barred All the personalities in this film must have appeared with approval from Lord Reith.

It did resurface on Ch4 films recently, quite an interesting look at the BBC, at a time when they were very protective of their image. Can't imaging what Lord Reith made of this! at least it was not attacked like the portrayal by Will Hay in Radio Parade, so one assumes the well connected Val Gielgud was approved of by Reith and the board.
