they have played at least 3 times in Denmark, saw them twice. Absolutely awesome, one of my favorites.

They are awesome live! I have seen them twice. Once they opened for REM and Modest Mouse and they blew them both away!

No doubt that they were FANTASTIC opening for REM, but the National aren't really a stadium band. They're perfect in a dark, club venue. Every time I've seen them with a smaller standing audience, it's been phenomenal.
