@Mr2ndAmendment Well I was just wondering what the laws are like in regards to shooting on private property. I was just curious as to what the minimum acreage is required for shooting on private property.
Sorry for the way I wrote this I didn't know how write it any other way.
No problem. In many parts of rural America, shooting guns is usually an everyday thing. Every day you can hear gun shots in the distance, it's just something everyone does. You can shoot on your own property, especially with the amount of land everyone has in these parts.
@Mr2ndAmendment I live on about 7 ares with my parents in Danbury Connecticut and apparently in CT the minimum acreage to shoot is 10 acres. There is also apparently an ordnance in Danbury that you can't shoot within the city limits.
We don't have that kind of legislation (that I know of) in these parts but I would image you could be fine with at least a .22 on 7 acres but if it's the law then it is the law.
No they really don't. In fact they always come running out when they hear gun shots. They like the company, but the black lab is a trained hunting dog. After every shot she's looking for something to go retrieve. The Husky is the friendliest dog you're ever get to know, he's always just happy to be around. I love dogs, they truly are man's best friend.
No, just surplus Lake City stuff. When I did that group I was standing, next time I'll try dropping it to the supported prone. I was shooting at all kinds of stuff but devoted 8 standing rounds into the target for the group. I always do worse in the cold, I don't know why.
@Mr2ndAmendment good stuff, I don't shoot so well in the cold either, I think it is because it takes longer for the barrel to warm up (the metal expands and the bullets engage the rifling to a greater level) and then cools down faster, leading to changing groups.
How do you get the camera to stay facing you half way up the barrel???

@slyde77
The real secret to all my crazy camera scenes is electrical tape. It doesn't harm the guns or the camera and it's great.

I'm from several different places, I've moved around a lot but have family basically everywhere. I usually don't share that for the internet.

@Mr2ndAmendment I could shoot .22s but they're not very fun.
BTW what is the price of land like where you are?

@nbenicewicz
For that I am not sure, you would have to research it.
