We used to joke that you had to be a black Marxist vegitarian lesbian to get backstage at a Consolidated gig, but Mark, Phil and Adam were always really decent guys. Seeing them for years in Vancouver and often with Meat Beat Manifesto was great. Always a gig well worth my time and cash and always entertaining. Thanks for the post AntiMusick!

I've seen Consolidated CDs & LPs going dead cheap in used record stores for years but never bothered to check them out - really wish I had now, this sounds pretty good.

I saw these boneheads back in Charlotte NC circa 88-91, cannot remember the date. I loved the music but the lyrics and messaging they put out was ridiculous. All expansionists peoples, colonies, governments have enslaved other people over thousands of years. This is not to put a value judgment on it but it is simply funny that these Honkies are so self-deprecating to the point that it is sicking. Why the fuck are they apologizing for so-called "Racial Inequality"? Consolidated was a Joke!
