  • Hey, I'm really glad that you found it interesting - thanks for watching and leaving the comment, I really appreciate it!

    Peace

  • look at the door in the background in the beginning ~ its swinging

  • I'm swinging too! Actually, it would be fun to call this a poltergeist vid - it is quite freaky seeing everything move on its own...

  • I realize here that people are hoping to see everything shaking... All that happened was that there was a big quake, so I went and opened all the doors in the house (if foundations move, doors can jam), and then I came and switched on my camera. Because the camera and desk are fixed, you can't see a lot of moving except me and the door, but it was stil swaying quite a bit. Anyway, just my thoughts taken during the tremor - I was quite afraid at the start that a bigger one was still to come.

  • I can see your door moving behind you!

  • Hey Crella! I was just about to say, this was after the worst was over, but the shaking continued for a long time. You can still hear the house creaking in the background at the start, and see me swaying - that is me staying central and the entire house moving. For a good half hour, it was like being on a boat.

    Peace

  • Take Care over there. I'm in San Francisco, I feel for you.

  • Penguinhunter - thanks for the concern. In spite of the size, it was a very deep quake and so there were no cases of serious damage, even right near the epicenter, who I was really worried about. You know sometimes when you feel a quake and it isn't so big, but you recognize the type - long and slowly gets bigger and bigger, that means that somewhere else is shaking a lot. I was worried about Ibaraki. Fortunately all was ok. Thanks!
