The problem with the good person test is that it assumes people are bad simply because they are not perfect, to be truly bad in my view, one's harmful actions must outweigh their harmless or helpful ones. You can't deserve a punishment that outweighs the crime.

The problem with the good person test is that it assumes people are bad simply because they are not perfect, to be truly bad in my view, one's harmful actions must outweigh their harmless or helpful ones. And than to say that someone should be permanently kept alive so they can be set on fire and fed to worms for looking at a girl or stealing a piece of candy completely goes against the concept of justice: getting what you deserve. You can't deserve a punishment that outweighs the crime.

1) Everything that is true, you call Jesus because it is true. The word Jesus would lose it's meaning, and just become a synonym for truth.
2) Jesus defines truth. I think this is the way you see it. But this is not necessarily the case. A lot of people don't hold this position. In order for this position to be justified, you'd need evidence. And I'm sorry, a book alone is not evidence if the contents aren't verifiable.

The whole good people before Jesus Christ were said to be saved. In a cut line from the apostles creed, it says that he descended into hell to save those who were not sinners.

Sex is not sin by itself. This is a typical stereotype towards Christians, they think sex is sinful. It's not. Sex is just an activity. It's when you misuse sex it's sinful. Sex belongs between married people, that's all. It's not bad. It just gets abused a lot.
It's kind of like drinking. Drinking by itself is not sinful but when it's misused or abused it's sinful.

I don't make the rules, God does. And God made it clear that He is fine with sex but he just wants it to stay inside of marriage. You say sex works out fine without marriage, but there's been STDs and unwanted pregnancies due to fornication. Married people don't get unwanted pregnancies. And teenagers who stay abstinent don't get STDs. God didn't make this law to limit us. He made it to help our spirit, our body, and make future marital sex more fulfilling.

Actually, more religious nations and states have higher STD rates, higher abortion, and higher divorce. Also, teaching smart sex over abstinence reduced the number of pregnancy and STD in a clinical trial.

And as for STDs and unwanted pregnancies going down thanks to "safe" sex, let me tell you this: Maybe the physical consequences will decrease or maybe even vanish, but the emotional ones never will. A man playing with a girls heart and using her for sex will leave a scar on her once he leaves her for someone more desirable. And think about this, sex is an activity between people who love each other. Would you like to have sex with ur spouse and have that person tell u "I did it with some1 else"?

b) It teaches sexual restraint, which causes confusion and perversion. Look at pedophiles, most of them were taught abstinence.

It's not about an easy live on eart but in the end it's about being eternal with God. I believe in God but something like that could also happen to me. I don't blame God for it if it does happen or to my family. At first i did this also. God is God no matter what your conditions are.
