this is the best game in the shooter genre, no matter if in PC or prior this there was other shooters, THIS GAME WAS LEGEND, the movement, weapons, music, characters, blood, everything fit perfectly, yeah....I know many of you "graphics" loving people will say the characters look too square I would say SO WHAT?! the game ruled in every single characteristic for many of us who played it!

But it still makes better use of mission objectives then most games I've played since. A testament to Rare's excellent game design.

Actually the N64 is a rather new generation console as it was 3D.

The NES and SNES era has definitely brought forth more classics, but the N64 has its fair share too. I remember when my mom bought me the console and my head exploded because it wa 3 dimensional.

The CPU in this game was not very bright, even on 00 Agent mode. XD I remember stand just below a target on the steps in Archive (I think that's the level name, the one with the green rooms and the metal doors and the books, where you meat Def. Minister.) Well, needless to say, it leveled down NUMEROUS time, yet couldn't hit me! XD

Nothing really, the levels and the gameplay are exactly the same, and as far as I know, unlike the newer games that are stamped on DVDs and Blu-Rays, the N64 cartridge has nothing to do with the resolution (PAL, NTSC, or SECAM), so I wouldn't be supprised if the only difference was a sticker and box, there was an import mod I heard of a while ago, that if you remove some plastic peice inside the N64 (or pushing hard on the cartridge to break the plastic region key) you can skip the region block

I think there's a REAL difference when you play the game on an emulator. The game runs faster than the original, which is somehow a good thing, but at the same time, you lose the moving sky effect.

It could have something to do with the fact that the FPS for PAL is slower than NTSC, so maybe the PAL version runs faster to combat that

Other than that, the data itself is the same, and shouldn't have a speed difference

microsoft owns rare, goldeneye was made by rare, so no goldeneye for wii.

One of the main things blocking it is that Microsoft now owns Rare, which made GoldenEye 007. Efforts have been made to try to get it available for the Wii Shop channel, but Nintendo and Microsoft haven't been able to reach an agreement plus Activision owns the video game rights to James Bond now.
