Best college in southern China. Has multiple hospitals around the area. I am not on the medical university though. I'm in the main campus. But it is a wonderful school and a great place to study. But, I'm a teacher here, so I can't say how well classes are.

Yeah you can rent outside, it's near the subway, so you can get on the subway or a bus into the campus. Student rooms are as big as hotel rooms.
