Yah i saw the prices..the 2.26 8 core is low 3K.

Do you have to render a lot when using effects on your quad?

How much RAM do you have? 8gigs? 12?

I'm shopping for a mac pro, maybe i should wait for the i9 six core.

I agree Tylerpomeroy, being in black-and-white kinda undermines the whole tech-cred. I'd also like to see it presented more human and less "in character", talking to us as if we just answered the door.

By the way, what do these folks actually DO? Obviously they have a nice stack of gear for some purpose, and make reference to a 'show', but they never do tell us what it is. I see the pieces-- what's the game?

Eric, if you have the money (somewhere) then Apple Final Cut Pro 6 is the best around right now for Mac... You'd have to forgo a car down payment though. If all else fails, Adobe has some killer stuff if you do not have the money, or a Mac for that same reason... Let me know how that goes?
