Just read some of the other comments and see that it doesn't look like you've updated for quite a while. If she does sing this now, maybe have her sing the 2nd verse as it can be done higher for a good finish. Would probably bring out your playing if the fella plays electric to bring out the picked parts a little. Could keep the volume down and not use much fuzz that would drown out her acoustic. Dedicate it to Heather from Dean and put it back on Youtube!!!

@glimmerman108 Very good. I'm an old ABB fan and well remember the original ABB with Duane Allman, Dickey Betts and Berry Oakely on the front line. It think Duane would really like what you all did. Back then Dickey sang lead with Gregg on backing vocal. Duane played the first solo then they would do that little harmony thing in the middle and Dickey would solo the rest of the way and back to the vocals. The song was a departure for the ABB at first but is not one of their most famous songs.

That was great! Best cover I've seen on youtube, especially of Blue Sky. Good improv on lead. I saw some Ryan Adams you did too, take a look at Jackson Browne, tons of excellent songs to choose from and great guitar from David Lindley. Also give Steve Earle a try, like "Billy Austin", great live version i've seen online.

I'll be perfectly honest. I opened this up thinking I was going to be seeing another half-baked acoustic cover of a great song with either no guitar solo or an overconfident attempt at it.

But...this is one of the coolest renditions I have ever seen. The song fits you naturally and you are both tight musicians. The lead licks and vocals were especially nifty. I have to be totally crazy and say I liked the vocals almost as much as Dickey Betts'. Kudos.
