@demigrl21 I think Joan did ok on Queens of Noise but during her time with the group her vocals sounded like that of a young girl, which to be fair is exactly what she was, but whenever I hear any track with Cherie singing I immediately start listening. I imagine they would have double tracked her vocals or whatever but she always sounded great to me. I think the Runaways could have gone on making great records if Cherie hadnt left but they were never a band that was built to last. Shame.

Nothing against Joan I think she is great but tracks like this showed how much the Runaways missed Cherie Currie on vocals. Joan matured into a good singer but there is no doubt that Cherie had more authority as a singer and a more interesting voice.

@peepingtom20101 thts like how i feel.like im a huge fan of joans but when Cherie sings a song live n when Joan sings it on the album it doesnt sound right like Rock n roll n Queens of noise

@demigrl21, I like both voices, very different and not everyone can have that sultry voice like Cherie, but I prefer Joan's because it sounds more rock. Especially at the end of this song which is one my fave parts when Joan starts singing and screaming. I LOVE IT!

@demigrl21, I gotcha, their voices are totaly different. Cherie have the sultry voice and joan has a more demanding (best word I can think of right now) voice. I love how Joan belts those songs out. But Cherie sings Cal. Paradise, Cherry Bomb, and Gettin' Hot, I really like how they come across :-)

@peepingtom20101, interestigng yes, but Cherie preferred softer music more than anyone else in the band. Almost kind of the oldies type which I don't like, that style anyway. You can hear the kind of songs she likes on Beauty is only Skin Deep in which there are only 2 songs I like. Messing with the Boys is tragic to me, but that's she likes.
