Read up on the housing market bubble and crash. A debt is actual money owed caused by your deficit. Your 4 trillion dollar deficit is wrong. If you are a voter, you need to do your homework. Bush handed the presidency over with a $560 billion deficit. Obama increased spending to 1.4 trillion in 3 months. Now it sits at 4 trillion.

Also going back to Carter 1977, the Democrats started pushing home loans for the poor "everybody needs a home". Been hearing that for 3 decades. Clinton pushed it the hardest. @fluffykumar1 There is a reason that housing prices sky rocketed from 1995-2005. Its not because people suddenly became successful. The housing bubble was predicted as far back as the late 90's. Read up on the housing market bubble and crash. This is why we are in a recession, and we are going to stay that way because businesses don't trust Obama and are not wanting to hire people regardless if consumer confidence is back or not. Once again Bush didn't do anything negative to the economy.
