Yet another Voyagers! Can Can (How to beat Flu boredom and use Left-over video clips! :)

I got thinking G! When Phineas says," Some of those Pirates were my best friends." I wonder,what an episode would have been like if Jeffrey had gone back into the past before he met Phineas & he sees what Phineas's life was like before he was a Voyager? He could meet Phinea's family as well as his Pirates's friends that he talks about.

I know I've asked for advice on making a Voyagers can can only I was wondering, how do you do the repeating action with Phineas Bogg at the very begining G?

@VoyagersOmni Use the same clip you made and repeat it as many times over as you want. Copy the clip in your movie maker program. I had to cut it down to the seconds I needed it.

@Voyagersguidebook Well, I just tried something I wanted to do but it didn't work.

I wanted to show a repeating scene with Cleo Patra getting the grapefruit mashed in her face, but instead the entire scene with Phoneas coming in repeated.I won't give up tho, just a bit bummed because I thought I had some quiet time to work on the video then my big sister calls on the phone & the house is filled with too much noise!So that means I gotta stop working or else theres alot of background sound G!

@VoyagersOmni Don't give up. Did you try clipping the scene up to the point where the grapefruit hits her face? Leave the first clip with Bogg tossing it in her face, then make the copies of the clip, two or three, and clip each one to the same seconds of just Cleo getting hit. Hope that helps. I know how distracting it gets, its like that here too. hard to concentrate anymore. Keep working at it as you can.

alot of can, can videos, but would you be willing to make another can, can time travel video slightly diferent from Voyagers or are you all can, can out? I just got thinking, I

bet it'd be pretty funny if you mixed something like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure in with the can can theme or haven't you seen that time travel movie?Hope you don't mind me masking another suggestion. I got all sorts of ideas G!

@VoyagersOmni Oh you're right, the Can Can song would fit well with Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I haven't seen that one in 15 years! It's very funny. I'm actually all video'd out..I need to complete my 'Random Voyagers' and I'm getting a better version of the Superboy dvds so I'd like to make more of those...but lately I haven't had much drive for videos. :P Though I love them. I'm currently writing a lot, trying to work on a real novel to publish in the future, but it's baby steps. :)

Only I have not given up on making fanvids just yet because if my big sister can get the DVD player to work on my computer then maybe just maybe I'll be able to return to making fanvidssometime soon!Personally I like making fanvids better & I have lots of ideas G!

Tonight I tried to

make a fanvid simular to this one but with a montage of Voyager clips I've used before, but mixed differently together but the sound from the Voyagers clips were too loud & the music too soft!SIGH!

Am I ever gonna improve be able to improve my fanvids, G?

Your Can-Can's never fail to make me smile!! This one was awesome. I was cracking myself up thinking about the many "oofs" of Phineas Bogg falling and tackling people. :)

Cancans make me smile too, I'm a running out of clips to use so if you can think of some, let me know! LOL. I think the funniest clip in this is when he runs into the room with Pasteur and throws the guy out of the way, at like 2:50.. I don't know, I just can't stop laughing at that one.

Hey there, Thanks for laughing! I have my choice moments..f2:41 where Phineas slides into the room and yanks the doctor out of the way just makes me crack up. Okay, I cheated a drop, I had to get more cleo and Titanic clips, but the rest all come from scenes I exported when I made 'Into the fire.' I just never got rid of the video file and went right to work on this. I have a massive video idea for a song made by the same 'Hooked on classics' group, But I really have to plan that one out.

Thanks. :) It's not too hard, just a lot of practice and a decent ear for music...That I know you have! ;) Timing, beats, crescendos...I think that's why I love using this tune, it has so many ups and downs to play with, some times the action in my vids is not blatantly timed, but if you study the flow of the beat, it's all there. I was a 95+ student for Music Appreciation...but I'm no musician. :)
