Verizon FiOS is unbeatable. With their XG-PON2, they've the fastest internet in the world. In Maryland, there is no U-Verse. Concrap and FiOS. I heard people prefer U-Verse over Concrap. In Maryland, where they do not have FiOS layout, Verizon is offering VDSL2, which beats Comcast anyday.

Comcast is better than AT&T. I'm have Triple Play with HD-DVR, extra channels, etc. 145 dollars. Internet speeds range but it's generally 22Mbps down, and 4 up tops. I had U-verse for 180 dollars per month. Their Internet sucks. 12Mbps down and 1.5 up. Lagging video games. Their wireless gateway has a short range. Had to use a Linksys N router to get more range. Installation took forever and they screwed up the first time. Comcast installation was quick and worked the first time!

FYI to F1sT and all - the most important factor in online gaming is latency. Most people don't understand this. Online games don't take up a lot of bandwidth, it's just text instructions. The best choice for a connection is whatever has the lowest latency. In theory, FIOS should have better latency than cable. However, I've read that this is not always the case. Before you go with FIOS for gaming because of the big up/down speeds I would do my homework on the latency for your area. Peace.
