Is it really necessary to short the 4 connectors? What happens if you don't? Just curious. I have 2 Gtabs to reset. Any precautions I should take before attempting this. Can I use a paper clip to short the 4 connectors? How long should I hold it to short out the gtab? Thanks
I need your help in fixing my g tablet, it is beyond my repair. I have tried all sorts and different methods, but it won't work. It won't boot, it doesn't charge at all, and we have already tried to short the area where the battry cable goes to the motherboard, but now i see that we did it wrong, can you please help us?

@emont3129 This procedure is only for GTablets that can't use the button combination to get into APX mode.

Well, how do we check if the battery is till alive or the motherboard? Is there anything we can do to fix the tablet or is it too costly?

@Microsponge972 plug it in and try to turn it on. If the battery is dead, it can power on without it. If not, then it's a dead motherboard.

@Microsponge972 You shorted the battery cable? Sounds like you either damaged the battery, motherboard or both.
