From what I understand, those who were vaccinated against the 1918 Spanish flu are the ones who died. However, in the Ukraine I've heard that this plague was started because people were refusing the H1N1 vaccines. So, why are so many people being affected if they haven't been vaccinated and their immunity has not been lowered due to the vaccine? Possibly due to advances in technology/medicine that allow for more severe attacks on the immune system even if people haven't taken the shot?
