My hair is a horrible flattened mess after I unwrap it in the morning. ): I need to figure out how to revitalize it rather than going "Hughh!!" and pulling at it frantically.
Do you know what texturizer does? I have permed hair and I would like to try something that relaxes the curls of my hair slightly, so that it's wavy-curly. Do you know if texturizer does that? Or anything else that does that?
you have already relaxed your hair, if you textrise it again to get curls, i guarantee you ,your hair will all fall out within months. thats too much chemicals.
Gosh, sorry so late to respond... A texturizer is nothing but a weaked form of a relaxer. As the other poster said, your hair will more than likely fall out or at the minimum have extreme damage due to overlapping of chemicals. Is your hair STILL curly AFTER you receive a relaxer treatment? If so, you may want to just go natural, if you haven't already and work from there.
A good hair product is this hair growth grease and hair growth shampoo and conditioner called goddess. It grows out your hair very fast. You can find it at worldofentertainment23((dot))com
I stopped using hair grease a LONG time ago! The only shampoo I use is Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Shampoo. I use shea butter and my moisture spray (which you can find on my site) and that's it. Thanks for stopping by! :)
lol i typed on expressing concern for children...and it came up with nothing...seems like not just black people that are not posting those things up...mayb u should start with one :)
If it weren't for black women, the black children we have would be in far worse shape. Just imagine if we were only reliant upon the black man. Our race would be extinct. Your comments are misdirected, dearest.

Nice wrap, your hair is pretty too. I have a great hair oil called HNS OYL™ that works wonders on the hair. It's all natural and can also be used on the nails and skin. If you try it, you'll love because it leaves no oily residue. It gives the hair a natural sheen and conditions it.
well, dang. when i wrap my hair i tie it around my head, just over the ears and then make it cinch like a drawstring until my hair is standing up and i look asian and tiny bumps are forming at my temples. THEN i secure it. Your way seems less damaging. lol

This is good. It will work for me. What do you put in your hair to keep the ends from locking after you wash? I assume you let it air dry, yes?

Where did you purchase the fabric that you used to do the wrap in this video? Is it sold online somewhere?
tffy2004 4 years ago
I purchased it from Sally Beauty Supply. It's one of the stretch satin scarves.

I do keep it covered with a satin scarf, especially since it has gotten much longer since this vid.

Black hair is beautiful, but heck, I only perm it because otherwise, it's too tedious to try to take care of it. Plus, it's not as tangly!
Excellent video, though! :-)
And I LOOOOOVE that song!
