I met someone like him at the Lower Antelope Canyon. He is a young boy from the nearby settlement who gives tours and plays the flute in a small crevice between two magnificent walls. To hear the sound resonate through the canyon is a surreal experience that fills you with a profound desire to become one with nature. If you ever get a chance to step into the canyon - DO it!
I would love to eat some shrooms and walk around there.....maybe have a camp fire surrounded by people who are tripping too......i would love to do that. That would be such a fantastic time and so exotic and surreal.......
Hey I know that sound! I'm heading back up as soon as I can. I'll be with Vernon again so I can get some detailed for the galleries....I need some flute music, interested in recording some for me?
what flute is it? It sounds wonderful.. I have a condor bass A but have never got that kind of sound out of it... but then Ive never had the fortune to play in Antelope Canyon.
its a pretty long flute. it didnt belong to me, but i'd say it was approx 2 1/2 feet long. i think its a contra bass flute that you can get from the High Spirits website. you probly recognize the 1st song, then some improv and ended with Mica's song, for my daughter. come back and tour with chief tsosie and we can jam in the canyon, just ask for Nate!
Definitely ask for Nate! Dude, you are by far the best guide I've encountered there. Been there several times now and none of them compare. Have you ever had any interpretive training? Cuz you're a natural interpreter if you haven't. Ever thought of working as a park ranger??
Wonderful sounds! The natural curves and carvings of the Antelope Canyon reverberate it with such beauty. The Canyon itself is so gorgeous. I look forward to visiting one day. Thank you for sharing!
Had the same experience a couple years back!

@ReaperLovers All I see is a fat tourist lady holding a camera and a guy in front of her (who should turn around and slap her).

Very, very nice. First tune sounded like "Amazing Grace" with a touch of artistic license.

Wow, this is beautiful! The sound fills your ears completely, like the air blown over an open bottle.
Such a lovely tune, rising and falling so pleasantly. The cave is so neat looking!
