@WakeUpItsAzia I had that problem with version 11 on my old computer. When that one crashed from so many problems with it, I got a new computer and it works great! My old was 1GB RAM. I think that was my problem then. I got 4GB now. Says it recommends 2GB but works with 1GB. Don't ever bother on a 1GB RAM Computer. Don't know your situation but that was mine. BTW, I payed $130 2yrs ago and it has a free Green Screen cloth. Working on a music video for my friend with the program.

Try working with a big HD project. You can have lunch (I'm not exaggerating!) in the time it takes to simply open an existing project. I don't know why because it should just be opening small references to the files. Studio 14 is the worst version of Studio I've ever used. I've got a high-end quad core and 4 GB memory, so the machine is no slouch. I've given up on Pinnacle; they're more interested in promoting their junk than in fixing it.

Do you have to use a 'Green Screen ? ' Or Could you just use a Plain white wall behind you. all One Colour ?

That's something different, that is called Luma Keying. Chroma Keying is for colour. ie. green screening.

Luma Keying won't be as effective compared to Chroma Keying a green screen. I recommend just using a piece of fabric that is relatively large that you can pin onto a wall. If you light it right, you can get brilliant results. Hope that was of some help.

The reason why the most popular colors for greenscreens is because blue and green are the farhtest away from our skin color. White would just contrast with your skin and It wouldnt be that good in quality

You can import HDV and HDVHC directly into Studio. It is considered a Consumer product but it has many professional features. As a Pro it would be hard to justify charging $300 per hour with a customer sitting there while using a $130 product. But is does work pretty well as a product with professional capabilities under most circumstances.

pinnacle studio 10 this is but search for studio 12 which is the new version. I have 11plus and its pretty good for what I want it for. And I find it easier to use than Vegas.

It can but very poorly because all colors have different shade of blacks and it will cut out those blacksyou really must use a contrasting color to the rest of the scene for your backgroung---that is why blue or green works best

You have to purchase an activation key. You might not have the version of Pinnacle that has full use of the feature without the activation key. You could always upgrade to a version that already has it as standard.

I downloaded pinnacle studios 10 with my dazzle package but when i open up pinnacle studios it says you dont have eneough physical memory to run pinnacle, it needs 512 mb and you only have 250mb... i dont understand why it says this...any ideas?

You dont have enough RAM (Random Access Memory) in your computer. You need to buy RAM cards and install them. I would suggest 2 cards at 1024mb each to make Pinnacle and other simlar type software work reasonably well. 250Mb is VERY small RAM memory.
