If you're having trouble with sleeping on your back, you can prop a pillow behind you on one side - it's not the same as side sleeping, but it's better than back sleeping as it doesn't put the same strain on your lower back. Your sutures are going to keep you from truly sleeping on your side for a while, I found that at six weeks it was still a bit uncomfortable, but the pillow thing really helped.
Oh yeah, anesthesia and synthetic opiates like hydrocodone and other pain meds that I'm assuming you've been prescribed are notorious for plugging up the downstairs plumbing :-P

Please update again when you do start exercising & let us know what it feels like in terms of soreness on impact, etc. I wasn't working out last time I had surgery, and I'm hoping I won't have to wait the full 6 weeks post-revision since it's a less invasive procedure, but I'm curious to know what to expect.
