Man, I feel silly, making my comment before reading your's. That would explain why I wasn't getting any of this. I went back to 3:05, and listened to him count. Not, "un, deux, trois, quatre"...he was saying "une, doi, tres, quat".

Well, that would explain why I got 95% of the written French, but only understood about 5% of the dialogue.

Spoken quickly, the Romance languages all sound the same. -.-

well, this version happens to be in French...I thought that you could click the "translate results to my language" and it would rectify the problem but this is the French release of this cartoon and those making commentary must be from those who either understand the language or the comments have been translated into English so we can read what they're saying!?!
