  • great performance! how did you use the h4 as an interface? using the mic or the line in? thanks

  • Very nice. You could make it even better if you voiced the 5th chord in the progression (the return to tonic) differently, maybe with the 6th degree in the bass.

  • It makes me relax :) really nice.

  • Nice Bass, Love the AFR's, a pitty though that the string height is a bit too high for my linking. Great playing though, thanks for posting.

  • beautiful.

    rounds or flats??

  • Thanks!

    I use flatwound.

  • nice, i've seen fretless basses on the guitar center web site but i've seen one in action. is there any sound difference?

  • The plucked note on a fretless has a "BWOW' sound. When you pluck the string, the string vibrates against the fingerboard at the beginning of the note. Then it vibrates free of the fingerboard.Creating it's signature sound.

  • Hell yes my bass freak brother!

  • I really like your intonation. Its not dead on when you hit the chords but slides there really quick which gives it a really nice sound. Real tight man, keep it up.

  • Amazing playing! Great fretless sound! I hope being able to play like this someday!

  • Thank you so muxh.

  • Thank you so much!

  • @studio9999 that was perfect intonation nice

  • beautiful playing, great tone!

  • thanks so much!

  • this is great, the bass chords sound amazing!

  • Thank you. The intnationl at a high position is still difficult.

  • Awesome intonation.

  • Thanks.

  • awesome playing man, sick fretless tone too.

u say thats an ibanez? ive never seen a 4 string fretless 1, is it custom? or did they stop making them or somthing?

  • This bass is Ibanez AFR A204 bass.

    It is not custom.

It goes out of production about 25 years or more ago.

  • lol ah well. shame for me. thanks anyway.

  • great work dude....keep it up..really nice...

  • Thanks..!

  • I have to say that I thought that was bloody brilliant!

  • Thanks so much!I

  • Dude, I have a zoom b1x FX pedal, and posted a tutorial about how to recreate the sound of some bassists like Tony Levin and Cliff Burton. Check it out, it's the latest one I uploaded :-)

  • thank you becouse this piece of music make me feel mi spirit

  • Thanks so much!I feel pleasure in the thing that music is transmitted.

  • GREAT!!! ;)

  • THANK SO MUCH!

if anyone has a minute, check out my SOLO BASS piece:

tapping and harmonics solo bass - epic love

  • Thank you. I saw your video. And, the comment and the evaluation were done.

I thought that your performance the most beautiful was performance and music in the

solo base that had been seen up to now.

  • studio, just saw this comment of yours. THANKS A LOT!

    your fretless playing is awesome!

are you going to put up a new vid soon?

  • かっこいいです

  • ありがとうございます!

  • ii desu yo! I used to play this tune with a ukelele. Your version is much better though. well done mate.

  • Thanks So much."arigatou-desu!"

  • This is probably one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard on a fretless bass. This rivals songs like Victor Wooten's Amazing Grace and such. Simply amazing. I recently got a fretless Fender bass, and I am hoping that if I can even come close to how well you have performed this piece, then I will be content. Again, extremely well done.

  • Thank you for the evaluation that greatly becomes it.

Hereafter, I want to pursue Fretless bass not to be ashamed of the evaluation.

  • Great Job. People don't realize how hard chords are on fretless -- especially way up the neck, where spacing gets so tight. You did a great job, friend.

  • Thank you. Certainly, harmony at a high position is very difficult in Fretless bass.

Still, it is necessary to practice me. However, I think that the sound is very beautiful. Therefore, I want to challenge.

  • i have never played on fretless bass but i love this clear sound.very nice dude.keep going.

  • Thanks.I grateful your commennt.

  • Great work! Please send me the sheet music if you can! Thanx!

  • Thank you so much.

    Original arrange made by "

naoki watanabe" who is famous japanese bass player.(He play on fretted bass.)

I play this song with small changing for fretless bass.

  • Beautiful voicing. Your chordal work is wonderful and your sense of time is very precise. Brilliant composition.

  • Thank you. I think that your comment is an evaluation that exceeds my ability. I am

    grateful.

  • freakin beautiful man you make that bass sound like an angels harp way to go man

  • Thank you. I terribly liked the phrase "Angels harp".

  • Thanks!

Your guitar is also wonderful. I like your guitar sound very much. The minor key arrangement in the

    latter half is beautiful.

  • beautiful !

  • nice!

  • Thanks!

  • very nice song. awsome bass, great tone!!!

  • Thank you. I want also to challenge artificial harmonics next time.
