  • My dad went to school with Chris!

  • You're the banana queen!

  • i can't pin a true label to chris's music.

  • ell no... haha!

  • this is one of my all time favourite songs.

  • Why, but he looks quite a bit like Eric Powell in this video.

  • Could someone please upload Swimming? That's such a brilliant song.

I could upload it myself if I wasn't so damn lazy...

  • i really love his voice... it sounds so dreary ..almost depressing but that bass line, beating drums and the flowing guitar brings it to life just perfectly...its yummy to me. :)

  • i really like his voice :)

  • I remember when this came out. First 2 releases were good.

  • my ex showed me this - he's older so he knows a lot of stuff i dont ..very cool! :) show me more! ;)

  • Dig the hipster look Chris is rockin in this video...

Also, Pigface used to play this during the Welcome to Mexico Asshole tour, its also on the album.

  • Interesting

  • i have this cd somewhere

  • i have this single!

  • Ahh good memories.

  • Chris recently published a book :Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible, and Fried: My Life As A Revolting Cock

Gets good reviews but pretty tough to find.

  • i've been trying to get it for half a year now :(

  • @bombauer it's in print again! should be easy to find :D

  • @bombauer - it's one of the best books i've ever read. Highly recommend. He's a brilliant writer.

  • @bombauer yeah I'm reading it these days. Great book, he's a good, funny writer. Though the humour is pretty cynical and bitter sometimes. "I felt like an Idiot. Was an Idiot" after trying to do a stage diving, not realizing the gap between the stage and the crowd... a total pageturner, extremly entertaining. BUT I feel like it wasn't a secret that Al is/was overdoing things pretty much all the time. Al IS too much and that's part of the fun. But the book made me check out more Connelly stuff.

  • @Barbabapan Whats the name of the book he wrote?

  • @hellchild65 "Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible + Fried: My life as a revolting cock"

  • @bombauer AND it was easy to find. Maybe/hopefully that had changed in the meantime. Hope it will be read by as many folks as possible. Very insightful, and scary. (But I'm sure you've read it already...)

  • Wow....sweet. Nobody sounds like him, man. I miss this.

  • check out scott walker........best!

  • thanks a bunch for this. Oh, the memories..Know of any video's from Murder. inc.? Either mix. Steve Albini's or J.G.Thirgwell's..Of course I havn't even searched yet...

  • The greatest vocalist ever!!!!! I'm so happy to finally see a video. Besides seeing him live the only time I can remeber seeing him is getting arrested on the Pigface video for masterbation in public.

  • you know he was in REVOLTING COCKS right

  • thank you. i have not seen this in ages!

  • This reminds of.... well all post punk stuff.

  • yeah i love the drum machines

  • the bass is very rev co like

  • @das81 The drum machine, synth and guitar reminds me of the Thrill Kill Kult.

  • @wintermutation Huh... didn't noticed until you pointed it out. Sort of early TKK-ish.

  • Viva underground music!!!

  • Was this a Waxtrax video?

  • yep. It came on the black box set.

  • I can't believe there's even a video for this song. I have been a hardcore Chris Connelly fan for almost 20 years and I never knew there were video's for any songs for his solo projects.

  • this is nothing. You should try to find Candyman Collapse. A total pop tune.

  • This is fuckin way different than the ministry gig he did in "In case you didn't feel like showing up" Live.

  • you'r just angry cause yr short bus rejected a touchdown to your guitar lesson

  • And you felt the need to seek out this video, watch/listen to at least a few seconds before you could press pause, and share this?

    Okay then.

  • the 12" version is awesome

  • Good strong bass. Love this song. Chris always reminded me of an industrial Bowie.

  • the album is whiplash boychild, 1991.

  • this song is nearly every element that i love in music wrapped up into a beautiful package.

  • Almost sounds like bowie.

  • As of 1990.

  • His lyrics aren't that bad, just that I'd prefer him shouting on the mic.

  • this is great!

  • he's under-rated!

  • Love that he used the TKK sample and Mr. Barkers bass...

...oh to be back in Chi-town 1988-90

  • What Chris did in this period was to complete the circle for people - early RevCo meets Bauhaus. CC ruled then - what a shame he's no Peter Murphy.

  • Mr. M was here.

  • That was cool as F**K!

  • Wow, we're being real friendly here! I really don't care about his hair and Chris in stockings looks hotter than anything. Just miss some of them effects on the vocies this time. five stars.

  • Great song! Up there with the best of revco - though I'm not too sure about the vocals

  • Different version from the albums or concerts. Good, but pity that Chris Connelly is not photogenic.

  • I have a really good b/w photo of him :)

  • Is there a video for come down here?? i love that fucking song..

  • Man, that's still an awesome song.

  • There was a video for this?! That's so cool!Hmmm... he looked better bald.

  • Thanks dude
