Sorry but I gotta disappoint you, I'm German and just fyi I have experience on the subject because I'm driving an Audi Q5 ABT ( 320bhp) and I gotta tell you it will beat a range rover of that type in almost every area

To the people that say SUVs are pointless and why should we get one instead of a saloon:

I'm buying a Q7, because I need space to carry training equipment, but also extra space to fit large subwoofers.

Plus the fact that the Q7 in the UK is rarely seen on the roads - and I like to be different.

I did originally want a RR, but there are too many owners reporting reliability problems.

Same with the X5. Plus the X5 is way too common. More BMWs on the road than ?Fords now!

It has enough torque for overtaking safely.
