After I finished Shutter Island I was unsure of whether I liked it or not...I actually do really like it, especially the acting of Dicaprio and Williams. The major twist at the end was pretty obvious, I mean a guy investigating a creepy mental institution and having weird hallucinations/dreams of his wife=HE WAS REALLY CRAZY THE WHOLE TIME! I sort of expected it from the beginning(I haven't even read the book.) Overall, it was good, definitely worth watching.

It's a great film, I do get sick of reviewers saying "what the fuuuck" though, yeah it's not really funny, clever, or explanatory in the least. I actually cringe every time I hear it now. Swearing isn't cool kids. At the very least, "mindrape" gives you some idea what the genre is, even if you could still use it to describe about 25% of films ever made.

No i agree the greenscreen shots were lame and i thought it was up its own bum to start with, but once you see it through, you realise it was deliberate to put your brain in the right state so you can really get sucked into his delusion during the movie.
