  • wtf is the point of putting their hands on the string while it's reeling? just asking for a rope burn

  • @Thelones uhm 2 things, notice they're gloves? and it doesnt really look like ordinary strings.

  • @Vanilieis I see the gloves and the string. I'm asking why they're putting their hands on it while it's going down or reeling in.

  • @Thelones most likely because that way they can hold a better control over it, since its a big fish then i doubt 1 guy could get it back.

  • @Vanilieis Hmm, I thought that was a mechanical wench they used to pull up the tuna, thanks for clearing that up.

  • @1:38 damn, that's one huge ass string used for fishing!

  • cool..

  • HAHA!

    GO killer whales!

  • Didn't even think it existed outside of one piece.

  • @Chipexcess gomu gomu no jet pistol?

  • Lol I was just watching one piece where sanji won the cooking contest and got a prize of a bluefin whale tuna.

  • they not whales, they are dolphins

  • Well, why don;t the fishermen just fish the Orca whale then? Using Giant Tuna as the bait.

  • @rimidalvetarak you retard, why would you want to kill a killer whale, there arent many left in the wild, blue fin tuna? there are millions

  • @shreeyadz870 Several points I would like to point out;

    1. Please refrain from using degratory language when addressing other user from youtube.

    2. Blue fin tuna are included in endangered species iun the world.

  • @magnusalexa that is true, blue fin tan populations are on the verge of extinction, but BBC, if anything, is trying to save them. And I totally agree with you that this goddamn butchery is criminal fishing

  • talk about conditioned stimuli!

  • killer whales, the troll of the sea.

  • lol they must hate the whales so much.

  • 2:48 and 3:02 Then the fish sudden regenerated all its meat back!

  • Kill the Orcas, they'll soon learn.

  • I was hoping those Killer Whale Shit their catches by cutting of the lines..

  • bluefin tuna are endangered species and protected species, and you david attenborough and the BBC are now a part of this criminal fishing

  • @parahumanoid: .... -_- "steal" really?

When did the Oracas stole meals and from whom? From human? You kidding right? personaly i don't call that stealing I call that tactics.

And rather shooting Orcas, why don't we shoot people like you instead....

  • @cypresswillow2591

Every creature does what it has to do in order to get its food. You call it tactics. Well, killing competition for food is tactics as well. By your own logic. But I'm sure you'll come up with a double standard in your response. Folks like you always do. Frankly, never took people that suggest shooting other people as someone whose advice should be taken or opinion appreciated.

  • Well, let's see. The orcas are not endangered. They "steal" the kill that's not theirs to begin with. I'd say it's alright to shoot or harpoon them. They are smart and would drop the habit of stealing if the price is death. They are good enough hunters to get their own fish.

  • @parahumanoid Yes lets kill some whales because they are smart and 'steal' meals..idiot

  • @mcvilla25

I'm not idiot enough to be insulting people I don't know. You, on the other hand, seem to live the life of emotions that totally block out any ability to reason and present counter arguments.

  • @parahumanoid Even though I don't know you, the fact you said what you said leads me to believe you are indeed an idiot

  • @mcvilla25

The fact that you understood my words in a way that you did also leads me to believe that you don't think before you speak and do assume too much. Your reply also leads me to believe that your innate lack of respect to anyone around you is so deep that you don't even "get it" when you've just been an asshole by insulting someone. Wolves are being shot in the woods where their population threatens the balance with other species. Same here. They'd go away if scared.

  • @parahumanoid

    Cool story bro,

All i know is killing an orca for taking an easy meal is stupid

oh and all that other crap you wrote about "me" is just that...crap, and if you think being called an idiot is so bad you need to get a fucking life and harden up. Good night i have a life to live enjoy yours

  • @mcvilla25

Relax, kiddo. You have a lot to learn and you're the one that needs to harden up. Cause you're already flying off the handle and getting all emotional, while I still don't give a fuck. I just gave you a hint on where you were wrong, but you still don't get it. It's all right. It'll come. Don't bother answering. But if you get a moment read up on sanitation hunting. That should give you perspective. "Kill one to preserve most", that's the point, but you don't get it.

  • @parahumanoid

Are you being serious here? Idiot.

  • @Hiirikettu

Another smart-ass... How come you can never go beyond an insult? Low IQ count? It would take only a few deaths for the rest of the pack to avoid humans. They are successful hunters and would not suffer from losing this feeding opportunity, but get their food elsewhere. No one seems to be upset about endangered bluefins here. Or the numerous endangered whales that orcas hunt and kill. But orcas! They holy beast to worship! They are plentiful and not special.

  • @parahumanoid Look I'm sorry It's just I am from Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada where I have grown up with the presence of these creatures and have learned a lot about them. By doing so I've developed a high sense of respect of what they are capable of. The way I see it is they are living evidence of a species constantly advancing to make themselves more successful. Particularly the orcas around Canada and Washington State.

  • @parahumanoid I'm sorry if it came out as an attack towards you, that wasn't my intention. It just kind of frustrates me when people turn a blind eye, and blame the problems on something else before considering the impact their fellow humans are responsible for. Who knew the human race would be as many as it is today? Now we're stuck trying to feed 7 billion people and the earth just can't meet those needs quick enough.

  • @parahumanoid I'm sure that with our current numbers there is a way to ensure an equal balance in the food chain. But no one cares and continue to waste resources and pretend like those necessary things will be around forever. If we continue as we do it won't be that way. Anyway sorry if I came off negatively to you, I don't generally argue with people to rip heads off because that's not the way to do it. I'm more just trying to inform and that's it.

  • @KyOkanagan

No, that's fine. Actually, you were very calm and courteous. I am fully aware of how advanced a creature an orca is. So is a wolf. Doesn't make it a holy beast. If a pack of wolves were to hunt red deer (endangered), I wouldn't hesitate balancing the situation with a weapon, though it's not wolves' "fault" that the red deer are endangered and they've been hunting them since before we were a force to reckon with. Wolves will get a chance to restore their numbers, unlike red deer.

  • @parahumanoid The thing I don't get is why is it that the orca has to die when it's been hunting this fish since before humans walked the earth? It's the selfish sense of entitlement that upsets some people here. Why not kill the neighbor because he happens to be picking from your blueberry patch? I have so much respect for orcas because of what they are capable of. They are super smart. And shame to kill an orca to scare them away from fishermen. All that is doing is destroying

  • @KyOkanagan

Now that we humans have upset the balance of nature, many resources have been brought to the brink of extintion. It's now our responsibility to keep them from disappearing and if it means killing a few animals of plentiful species to stop their hunting on an almost extinct animal, so be it. It's about choosing the lesser evil. We have to intervene in some situations. It's not Iraqi's people fault that Saddam was a threat, Nevertheless, they paid the price of US intervention. Fair?

  • @parahumanoid their own progress which is amazing actually. They are clear evidence of a species capable of vast change. They are conscious, they have the mental and social capacity to be teachers, they have passed on generations of continuous tradition and social behavior. I am facinated by the learning curve and how great a memory they possess to pass all their information and learning onward and at the same time perfect it all for the future generations.

  • @parahumanoid And the fact you can say that orcas aren't endangered, whereas the tuna is and is somehow their fault? Therefore they should be accountable for the low stocks? Orcas have been able to keep a good ballance of the fish population hundreds if not thousands of years without any problems. Overfishing combined with destruction and pollution of the marine ecosystem is the cause. Humans outnumber orcas by a long shot. they don't even make the 100,000 maybe as much as 50,000

  • @parahumanoid and somehow that number is so detrimental to the fish numbers? There are over 7 billion people on this planet and the issue your bringing up is that 50,000 (give or take) orcas in a watery environment that covers over 70% of the planet is the real problem? You could place every species of dolphins and whales together and they still wouldn't reach our numbers.

  • @KyOkanagan

I'm tired of arguing in this thread. It's become a burden to answer everyone that wants to argue. So, no offense, but I'm not going to get into it anymore. I never suggested to hunt them en masse, but just about everyone commenting on my comment implies that. Sometimes, I wonder if people have basic high school comprehensive reading skills. Sure, those fishermen shouldn't be fishing endangered fish in the first place, so at the end of the day I don't care arguing.

  • Whales r quite the trollz!!

  • lol what a waste of 2 grand xD

  • Those smart bastards! lol

  • DAVID ATTENBOURGH

  • For once, the humans loose against animals.

  • @frepi humans have lost against animals many many times u dumbass

  • @Dannychu92

Wow...What a short fuse you have. Try a punching bag , it should help you deal with that deep frustration.

Back to the topic: Given the state of the planet, the loss of natural land and rampant pollution, I bet that for every human killed by an animal, 100 000 animals die because of humans. So yes, I am statistically right when I imply that human (almost) never loose against animals.

  • Fuck yeah! Go Orcas!

  • Tuna are going extinct from commercial fishermen. At least, if we stop overfishing, these village fishermen would get their fair share despite Orcas stealing them.

  • Why bother hunting and catching the fish when the humans will deliver them to you? Damn, those whales are smart!

  • Why bother hunting and catching the fish when the humans will deliver them to you? Damn, those whales are smart!

  • jeez guys, no need to hate on the guy that came first, he's just stating the position he is in the comments, on the other hand, you guys are insulting him. you see the difference??

  • I like eating tuna.

  • @Nvoy123 sweet deal.

  • LOL WIN!

  • go tuna! go killer whales! stop fishing bluefin people!

  • @Luap0 if we can't hunt bluefin people, what people CAN we hunt?

  • @raretrick crab people OBVIOUSLY

  • @Luap0 screw it...tuna tastes good..

  • @trappedinamadworld Not much to taste anymore once they're extinct, eh?

  • @NamuTheOrca its ok there will be other fishs in the sea to eat...:)
