@nick8811 Nadeel is dat het wapen om die reden geen echte klapkolf kan hebben. In Israel hebben ze daar nu een oplosing voor bedacht, maar dit komt de terugslag niet heel erg ten goede. Die moet dan weer met een een mondingsrem of iets dergelijks worden gecompenseerd.

The Diemaco C7 is a slightly modified version of the US M16A2 rifle. It is the main and most used weapon of the Dutch land forces. Actually, almost all used rifles here in the Netherlands have this small scope you see in the video, and then the weapon is called C7A1. The Dutch Marine Corps uses the Diemaco C8, which is based on the US M4 Carbine. Diemaco = Colt Canada.

C7 has M16A1 sights(front and rear). Cold Hammer Forge Barrel vs. Extruded Barrel of M16A2. Cold Hammer Forge are better due to denser barrel. M16A3 and onward are cold hammer forge if manufacture by FN. C7 is nade to CF requirement. Good idea to go with telescopic stock on C7A2 onward.

The C7A2 features a collapsible buttstock like on the M4 carbine, also many operation features are ambidexterous. C7 can be fitted with a REMOVABLE carrying handel/rear sight but is often issued with an Elcan C79 or Eotech. The Dutch will get the A2 soon but will include brown furniture. The Canuck ones have Green furniture. There are more differences than what I can put in this comment.
