We call this "chittering" -- all of my siamese & bengals have done this but its usually when they see something they can't get to -- like birds, or squirrels, or a bobcat. If its a coyote, the chitter becomes a snarl.

DX i like it when siamese cats eyes are crosseyed! its funny looking, yet you get lost in them because theyre sort of hypnotic...but they have very beautiful blue eyes. and siamese cats ARE supposed to "talk" alot so thats just normal.

Cats chatter when they are excited, and/or hunting something. Usually something they cant get. I've heard that they're trying to duplicate the noise made by the insect/bird or in this case toy. I dont know if thats true, though. Anyways, that cat is adorable and I love when my cats chatter haha.

my aplle face siamese runs throught the house doing that and sometimes its really high pitched, we call it churring its part chatter part purr. Siamese in general are so very vocal. I have had several and had several "conversations" in which i rarely get the last word in!!
