@beyblademaster8944 They come in a variety of recent sets (mostly construction equipment Technic sets), and can be ordered her in the US at least from the Educational division of LEGO.
@legocaptainfordo I bought it :). LEGO used to sell "ammo packs" of 10 balls. I thought they would come in handy at the time. Now, I'd just buy them off Bricklink.
hi. It's great. I build a machine gun with the things with the NXT Things. But this... great. And can you maybe make a list with all pieces which I need? I mean. So I can see which things I have and which not. And maybe can you say from which lego technic product you used the pieces? like "1x blablabla from the Bionicle 8654" yeah. great. and sorry for my english. it's my second languange
@XPHX1996 I don't have a parts list handy for this, and don't even have it built at the moment to take a look. You could certainly do through the pictures to figure it out if you had the time. Likewise, I have no idea what sets the parts are in - I have a significant-sized collection, and would buy parts off Bricklink anyway, not in whole sets. Ogre uses only two sensors: an US sensor, and an IRLink (from Hitechnic) that allows the NXT to send IR messages to the PF receiver.
hi m8 that was awesome! can you make step by step tutorial of how to make it but slow it down i can't keep up! plz reply! and could you list parts needed?
@jammy453 Well... try reading the information about the video. The info section has a URL to a whole series of individual steps to build this. As to a parts list, as I've mentioned to others, no, I don't have one - taking it apart to count each and every piece just isn't much fun, and I do this for fun :).
Look, no offense... but I think you need to research this, and figure out what you can do with it. Look at theNXTstep blog (I contribute), or NXTasy (a forum on the NXT), or some other on-line resources. The short answer is "yes, the channel selection is under the control of the NXT".
Simple - I worked at it. A lot :). Seriously, this was done in stages. First figuring out how to power a Zamor launcher with a motor... then a better magazine for it, and powering two... then powering four, then seeing how tightly I could pack four launchers together, then making a still better magazine, etc. Work at something long enough, and hard enough... and you can usually come up with something cool.
I don't know what the minimum sets are to build this: I don't have my LEGO sorted by sets :). It requires two Zamor launchers, plenty of spheres, three XL PF motors, and a bunch (110?) treads with four large driving hubs and two small ones, and NXT, a HiTechnic PF IRLink, one US sensor... plus a bunch of other pieces. Sorry, but I didn't base this on what sets to use... just what was a really nice, efficient, cool MOC.
I know you know this (:D)... But you should really use a closed room with no windows and just a lamp, so that the light doesn´t change through the whole video.
And by the way... Those motors are NXT´s? Because I´ve only got those big servo motors T.T...
:D Not that they are bad, but they are sometimes too big.
I did do this in a room with the shades closed and a bright overhead light... but you also have to lock the exposure settings, which I didn't bother to do here. To be honest, I never intended to use these pictures in a video, just as documentation. And no, those motors aren't NXT motors, but PF motors.
where did you get those tread pieces?

can u plz make instructions on the remote control?
TheLegomaster18 1 year ago
@TheLegomaster18 I think you should be able to figure that one out - it consists of two PF remote controls & 5 pins, that's it.

@brdavis5 hi again i looked on that site called brickshelf to try and build it but waht are the pole lenghts for pic b25???
jammy453 1 year ago
@jammy453 Take a look at other pictures in the series, and make a guess. I could figure it out from pic b29, for instance.

i cant find that thing in the nxt program
hajyandz 2 years ago
Huh? What thing? Th PFlink NXT-G block? That's because you need to download it and add it.
brdavis5 2 years ago
the thing is the pflink and do you need to dowload it to the nxt program?
hajyandz 2 years ago
how do you get the nxt control the pf
hajyandz 2 years ago
Using the Hitechnic IRlink, a sensor that will allow the NXT to send IR protocol messages to the PF controllers.
brdavis5 2 years ago
do you mean the rechivers?
hajyandz 2 years ago
Yep. Go to Hitechnic's website and take a look.
brdavis5 2 years ago
you plug it into the nxt right?
hajyandz 2 years ago
and do you plug it into the motor or sensor ports?
hajyandz 2 years ago
is the item number/name ms1046?
hajyandz 2 years ago
That looks like it. It plugs into a sensor port (the PF motors of course need their own battery box, which you can see in this design).
brdavis5 2 years ago
how many motors can it take at the same time?
hajyandz 2 years ago
Eight. There are four different channels that the PF receiver can use, and each receiver can control two motors.
brdavis5 2 years ago
so you the nxt changes the channel or do i need to do is for myself?

Though I'm hoping to get it, some pneumatic kits, and HiTechnic sensors this summer.
