seriously this is pissing me off like actually im trying 2 put back my T and R key on and its not woeking cuz every video on youtube makes it seem so simple.
I must say, I haven't gone through the feat if removing the entire keyboard (the aluminum cover).
All the advice I can give for the non-spacebar keys is to use something not very hard--either a drivers license or credit card and begin GENTLY prying off they keys from the top-right or top-left corners only. As you slowly pry them off, they'll eventually pop out of their mechanism.
From here, obviously the bottoms of the keys are exposed, as well as the upper parts of the keys' mechanisms are o
I spilled lemonade all over my macbook pro and some of the letters are sticky FROM THE INSIDE especially the spacebar im 12 years old and i dont wanna tell my mom and dad about this soo i need help on removinq the keyboards off and makinq it not sticky anymore PEASE HELP IM BEGGING YOU
Yeah, the first couple keys took a bit if pressure to get off--I thought I might break one. I used an old license (credit card will work) to pry off the top left-hand corner of the keys. The plastic of a card is good because it's unlikely to damage the plastic of the keys or the aluminum.
FYI: the space bar and enter keys use metal prongs that help keep them from bending. The space bar has two of these and is fairly tricky to get back on correctly. CONDUCT AT YOUR OWN RISK, and have fun.
ok how did you take off the key??? because brisk got spilled all over my mbp 13'' and it's still ok.. but the esc,f3,s,and w keys are sticky.. thank you

easy! after prying the keys off and cleaning them, just press in the keys hard enough and they will just lock in.
