Empire is a good school and I'm proud to be a graduate. I must say though, we all know how expensive this education is and worth it, but I hope that w/that Masters of Beauty w/Nick Arrojo and wld b nice w/other educators,us graduates,students..should have a password required access to an official website that gives info on:prep state bds.,moving to new state, what needed,a SEARCH bar to type in any haircut step by step.EVEN IF SMALL MONTHLY FEE-WORTH IT.HOPE AN EDUCATOR SEES THIS. :)

It shld be standard across the board.It's crazy as I moved from PA to NJ-I called NJ St.Bds and was treated like an alien-as if it was a "secret" as to how to obtain my NJ lic.the rep wldn't even tell me if I need to test for barbering as she "couldn't give out that info on phone>"very upsetting.

Without the proper ventilation cosmetologists may be over exposed to excessive levels of formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde, so they should invest in an efficient ventilation system. A "Chemical Source Capture System" removes these potentially harmful vapors from the breathing zone of both the stylist and client. Search "Chemical Source Capture System", "Hair Smoothing Controversy" or "Preferred BKT Ventilation" for additional information
I really wish someone would give me a reason why I shouldnt go to empire. I am really researching Cosmetology Schools, and to me they are all just too high. After you get financial aide, your paying for anything over $5k so, is it really worth it? Everyone keeps talking about a new school in Pitman, does anyone know the name of it. I have heard ALOT of great reviews about it. Please help me!!!!

.you are all ripping people off DO NOT GO TO EMPIRE. mr blaine( founded empire school) said it himself "students are just another number" they only care about the money they tell you all these thiings and get you tosign a contract..which when you are enrolled, you are not allowed to see until the full tuition is paid... convenient right..they will literally deny you access to your contract to our face if you ask for it. DO NOT JOIN EMPIRE.

All they have is a pathetic excuse for a breakroom which is way too small, and we didn't fit in there, so many people were stuck eating outside or in the classroom. My experience as an Empire student was awful. Don't let this exciting video fool you.

I am a sixteen year old who has a passion for cosmetology (constantly experimenting with my friends and siblings) but don't know anything yet can I still go to an Empire Beauty School?
I start going to Concorde in Bloomfield, NJ and Concorde is affiliated with Empire Beauty Schools. Im so excited to start and everyone seems nice. Just like any other school you have different people with different opinions so its not going to be 100% "perfect" but atleast you'll learn a lot and you have so many opportunities waiting for you even before you graduate. Plus the trade/hair show and competition sounds sooooo cool! Cant wait!
