    enjoy

  • cool video... i didnt realize that you can use magnet in kinetic sculpture... unique... =)

  • DIGLITS!!!

  • evil chocolate pudding 0_o

  • Brainiac wants out.

  • Anyone wanna tell me what material that is? The whole liquid metal makes me think mercury, but id doesnt quite look like that.

  • @PRVTDickStryker also mercury isn't magnetic...

its iron particles coated in stuff to make it float in water or oil while not clumping.

  • is that water or what? o.O

  • magneto liked this video 814 times

  • it looks like the Zerg from Starcraft

  • Its just a chemical component containing Iron (I think Ferrous Oxide or something else)---Powerfull electro magnet on top & bottom of liquid makes it do these amazing sculpture---Nothing but science!!!

  • so you know how it's a smooth surface at first, right? then it became spiky and i was just like O-O WTF

  • amazing magnetic art. i am assuming they use mercury or some other form of liquid metal. michael banak

  • @michaelbanak This is actually a safer substance called Ferrofluid, which is somewhat easy to make.

  • I stole this idea from a brake light in a walmart delivery truck only to find out it was already used in a Pulsar Star arrangement give or take.

  • I wanna stick my hand in that stuff. idk why

  • Ew... that was really gross for me.. I have no clue why.

  • @Macr888 becauee it wriggles and jiggles

  • @Arthounot I suppose. It just reminds me of little worms.

  • i would put my hand in there

  • Play some freakin dubstep next to it, and it's bound to make some intresting things.

  • It's really just soap and iron filings. It's not a particularly complex material.

  • Try watching this video while listening to this (/watch?v=imamcajBEJs) without jizz :D

  • that was perfect!!!

  • I want to poke it :D

  • *slowly touches it* holy shit its the blob!

  • YOU CAN GET THAT FROM AMAZON!!

  • YOU CAN GET THEAT FROM AMAZON!!

  • My god I WANT TO TOUCH IT SO BAD!

  • Dont get why people click dislike, its so amazing :D

  • @AndrewNeo12 26 people out of half a million don't get it. But I love it - I WANT ONE!

  • @camska Nonono... 441,270 people didn't get it, 759 people want it, ans 26 people don't give a fuck about your crazy magnet water.

  • hmm interesting!!10.0 they should make a programme were you can make all kinds of realistic creatures one way better than spore and you'd only need your mind as a controller!

  • @TheLovesoul1 Good luck with that...

  • This looks so cool! I remember fooling around with iron dust on a shee of paper and an electromagnet back when I was a kid. Great stuff :)

  • 1:16 ... scary if that happened in your toilet XD

  • kindly let me know about its working in a bit detail plz???

  • t-1000

  • ITS ALIVEEEE!

  • it's scary...

  • is wondeful¡¡¡

  • what is this?

  • @shadic3124 a ferrofluid

imagine it as very very .... very small iron particles swimming around in oil (thats not everything but the important stuff)

  • me too

  • Immediately I thought about Lem's "Solaris" (the book, not any fcuking movie).

  • woahhh

  • its fake :D this is not from spider man 3 :D lol

  • i want to stab some one with that than fail knowing its a liquid.

  • Somebody call spider man, venom is here.

  • Somebody call spider man, venom is here.

  • awesome.

  • What is that liqiud? I HAVE to look that up on amazon.ca

  • @TheVaporeonrules234 Its called ''ferro fluid''. You can make it at home. Search up HouseHold Hacker they will show you.

  • @mukup1 THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • wah that made spiderman bad :(

  • Can U make this out of chocolate? :)

  • It's pretty easy to make such ferrofluid at home. Pure fun.

  • some dubstep would go nice with this.

  • @syLntscream

    that's so true!! XD

  • inspirational, am gona make something sick now. thankyou japan

  • You better not go to close, in case it hasn't been yet fed today

  • this should be in high def

  • 1:20 leeches reproduce

  • Ditto evolved into.....SPIKY METAL DITTO!

  • it's very sexy i want to see a girl being fucked by that shit stuff hahahaha xD

  • @devillamike learn to draw.

    DREAMS COME TRUE!

  • I could stare @ this all day and still be amazed.

  • its not real it says it in the video

  • ...how

  • use it like a weapon you can give it in a bottle and than you open it and *wush*^^^

  • its brainiac from smallville version..

  • it look like an evil dildo

  • WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why isnt there requiem for a dream as background music??

  • @Rocknoob49 because that would be kind of annoying.

  • 2:51 tree

  • very kewl

  • thumbs up if you jizzed when you saw this

  • UPLOAD IN 1080P PLEASE!!

  • @nord8088 thats what she said

  • meaningless

  • @TAXCHEAT

its art dumbass. go watch some MTV if you dont like it

  • @storksforever2000 you obviously have a limited imagination if you call this "ART"

  • @TAXCHEAT

hahahahahahahahahahaha! Oh my God dude do you realize how ironic it is that you said that? its like you insulted yourself.

  • @storksforever2000 .. if you had seen how i twisted your mum like a pretzel and fucked her doggy style while she was licking my balls then you would have seen true art ... seeing how easily amused you get i bet your laughing yourself to death right now.

  • @TAXCHEAT

DAMN. well you really got me there. congratulations on your brilliantly thought-out come back. did that take you a whole day to come up with? good for you

  • Magnets How do they work

  • Kewl

  • ferofluid is so awesome to play with, with a magnet :D

  • how the hell.....

  • it looks like jelly type stuff

  • this is venom or carnage!

  • She uses ferrofluids for this. When she lectured at my university she said she had gotten the idea here from NASA's research into ferrofluids.

  • this almost makes me want to take that extra hit of acid

  • ferrofluid

  • IT'S VENOM

  • thats creepy cool and awesome all rolled up into on package

  • tss..they'll never get it off the ground though...FUCK...AHHH...WHAT ?

  • Man !!! With this thing they could make real-life transformers !! XD

  • i think that is the same composition like the one that is used in the new car suspension....metal powder and oil.... :)) i made a similar experiment a few years ago with cooking oil and metal powder and a regular magnet....that is not mercury :P

  • reminds me of gel lo xD

  • at some parts, it looks like a hedgehog faceoff :-)

  • thats a really powerful magnet!

  • looks sharp... dont touch it!!

  • I wonder, if you touched it, would it be sharp or wet?

    *****

  • that was awsome:D

  • I would like to lick that stuff :D

  • @nord8088 LOL

  • @nord8088 u would probably die,but HEY! it was worth it right?

  • @nord8088 it's made of iron filings in oil.

  • @nord8088 I doubt you wanna lick ferofuel.

  • @nord8088 me 2!

  • @nord8088. that would kill you

  • @nord8088

You won't when you realize it's oil and ink.

  • @nord8088 Roll a fortitude save.

  • MERCURY :P

  • dude wtf is that kinda creeps me out is it liquid it better be

  • It's a ferrofluid. It just becomes polarized by any magnetic field.

  • I'll trade you my new hdtv for it...

  • Soooo cooool! Wish there was music!

  • Ferrofluid?

  • yes

  • veg oil and ink toner with a magnet

  • You could use this to tell a Story.

    A silent story

  • magnetic fields and iron particles or something.

  • wut is this? magnetic water? lol

  • haha freshman

  • reminded me of venom frm spider man lol

  • 5★★★★★

  • fuck playstation 3, i could stare at this alllllllllllll day

  • jajajaja YOURE SO FUCKING RIGHT!

  • @44eelz Either way, lets be honest, both were created by asians.

  • Reminds me of an old episode of ST:TNG!

(Crude Oil Alien Man or whatever it was!)

  • Well. I'm fairly certain that my brain is officially broken now.

It's kind of creepy though... D: If I saw it real life, I think I would run away!

  • wtf is this s++t? Is it some cind of Terminator?

    I like it :D

  • How this thing works??

  • With ferrofluid and electomagnets.

  • holy shit this is amazing.

  • super techno kool

  • AW SWEET! That thing is cool. I want one, of course i can't get one. But still, that thing is really cool.

  • wooooow gorgeous!!!

  • ferrofluid... i hear its expensive...

    AWESOME :O

  • You can make it yourself on the cheap.

  • this is totally amazing!!!!

    art driven to another dimension!!!!!!!

  • Those purple eyes at the beginning were staring into my soul.

  • your an idiot. we all know that science. its still cool

  • i´ve seen the exposition in Madrid, it´s really hypnotising. it´s called ferrofluid and it´s being morphed with a huge magnet above, the current going through the magnet can be influenced by anything: movement, sound, light.

  • what is that stuff?

  • mercury i believe

  • what the.... ?

  • this is unreal.... absolutely

  • holy crap! 1:29!

    that's absolutley amazing!

  • so terminator was right

  • yes... in every way 8-)

  • A little sound would be so bad...

  • My guese is thats pure magnets melted down into a liquide that is sensitive to the sound waves. Thast why it could of been in suck a weird small tub thing o.o

  • Heat destroys magnetism. This stuff is expensive to buy but can be made yourself provided you can get your hands on the raw materials needed. Google "how to make Ferofluid" and you should find the info you need to make your own magnetic liquid. NASA has been using this stuff for years and its also used in many of today's electronics. For example high end speakers, laser heads of some CD & DVD players, as a seal found in computer hard drives ect.

  • laser heads of almost all CD and DVD players use it, its far more precise than any mechanical metallics.

    Amazing stuff.

  • what's the fuid?

  • liquid iron, I think? Or at least that's what the other video says

  • iron filings in oil

  • It is ferrofluid. See: en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Ferrofluid

  • Wow, controlled by sound, like a microphone amplified by magnets of a speaker?

  • Pretty cool!

  • looks like the 'X-men' version of mapping might not be such a science-fiction kind of idea

  • the best toy to play when yure high on lsd

  • VERY awesome. would have liked to watch them make it. and seen it working in person. sooo awesome

  • Sublime, this is almost magic!!

  • Truly alien.

  • this is suppossed to be future armour. but i dont see how this will stop a bullet.

  • Skynet Approves.

  • Ferrofluids are colloidal mixtures composed of nanoscale ferromagnetic particles suspended in a carrier fluid, usually an organic solvent or water.

  • its something called ferrofluid....its magnetic

  • The terminator?

  • WOW.. :O

  • Is that liquid metal?

  • I don't think so. It look more like magnetic powder. I think you can see it when it falls

  • ya but magnetic powder doesnt have a clear reflection

  • oh ma gosh its da black stuff from spiderman!

  • You mean a symbiote?

  • str8 t1000 type shit

  • I saw the same thing in a technical museum near here. Interesting stuff.

  • i think there usng mercury
