Magic elements brought us together the first time. I would do it again in a second (I was Dave), but only if we had the same director, who was awesome. I think she hinted at a spring project maybe? When it will be warm here in Canada again xD But that wouldn't be for another few months.

It was an open casting call, so there were no restrictions on who you could cosplay for the shoot. Originally there were going to be 4 Terezis and 4 Vriskas, 2 Johns and 2 Daves. A lot of people ended up not being able to make it though on the day we shot it, though. It was just luck that we ended up having a big variety and pretty much one of each character.

I put a call out for volunteers, got a list of who was coming as what character, and storyboarded the song by breaking up each section to best fit each troll/human. I did a few variations in case people didn't show (Which happened) but had most of the shots planned before the big day. I asked everyone to have the song memorized in advance. Then it was just a matter of grabbing a character, telling them what they had to do, and filming it. Each section took 4-6 takes to get right.
