@shadyswiss you'r making it more difficult than it has to be.

this head unit only has one set of preouts, that means you can only hook one amp up without using RCA splitters. so YES you can use RCA's to your amplifier then from your amplifier to your sub

I like the way the packaged this. It looks extremely professional and comes with everything you could possibly need. Also blue-tooth in a 1 DIN is pretty awesome. Alpine looks like some quality stuff, this video may has changed my opinion on them.

Built in bluetooth and steering wheel control makes this great for people who just need a decent cd player to replace their Stock H/U, nice move by Alpine. Looks great too

Sexy single din, but why not but the usb in the back! Head units looks much better with USB sticking out the back. When it is in the front the cord clutters the car and can get in the way. Button layout is a nice upgrade tho

The Alpine CDA-9887 is still the best head unit from them in my opinion. I have had it installed with the Imprint sound tuning feature and the clarity is just amazing! It has way more options.

@caraudioman16 well the big thing for this unit is the built in A2DP alot of people want that, look at the CDE-124SXM its made with the sirius tuner, they are specializing their units to fit the needs of the consumer
