if you watch the entire video you can clearly see the lights going INTO (within..in front and behind) the cloud bank..therefore the lights cannot be on the ground.
Actually, if you watch the whole video, his point holds true during the entire thing. Another good point is that the FLIR camera on that plane was located in the bottom and if you see a picture of it (it is around), you'll notice that this camera can not point upwards.
Seeing clouds below the lights can actually fool you into thinking that the lights are above the horizon.
There are a couple of spots in the complete video where you can trace where the horizon is and notice that it is above the lights (which makes it more probable that they are stationary objects at ground level).

Your an idiot, The bottome clouds move faster because they are closer. The clouds up top are further away thus look like they are not moving at all.. CapFranz is correct, this is not a good case for UFO's, look closely at the lights in the close ups, you can see the light being reflected from directly beneath the glowing lights, this is proof that the light source is only slightly above ground level. We are seeing the reflection from the water, if these light were at altitude you would not see this refection at all.

actually he has taken the event from the realm of blind faith and applied a falsifiable hypothesis, making it a realistic quantity.meaning.if before you had problems beliving in ufo,this makes it a rational base to lay your claims.see, even if he disproves it he still brought it into the real of plausability and not blind faith.

these weren't even 'lights' as you suggest. your paper experiment is flawed. these were only visible on flir, so your entire theory is wrong!

For Real! Try performing your test using the entire UFO footage instead of just 5-10 seconds of it. Do that and post the results on here...I don't think you will do this because it will show that the lights do indeed move thoughtout most of the footage. Nice try, but no cigar!

ha, what a crock of BS. you use 5 seconds of footage, and you also discount the information from the professional pilots that confirmed they were actually being directly followed by one of the objects and one point, and at another point, they were completely surrounded by them. oils fires don't do that buddy, sorry. i'll take the word of several professional pilots over yours anyday. after all, they are a lot more credible than you are my friend.

The illusion that the lights move is actually the effect of the plane traveling past those clouds while maintaining focus on the lights. I am totally convinced now that it was a misperception by the mexican pilots, a forgivable one, considering that looking at such a bad image kind of messes your perspective.

if you watch the entire video you can clearly see the lights going INTO (within..in front and behind) the cloud bank..therefore the lights cannot be on the ground.

Actually, if you watch the whole video, his point holds true during the entire thing. Another good point is that the FLIR camera on that plane was located in the bottom and if you see a picture of it (it is around), you'll notice that this camera can not point upwards.
Seeing clouds below the lights can actually fool you into thinking that the lights are above the horizon.

There are a couple of spots in the complete video where you can trace where the horizon is and notice that it is above the lights (which makes it more probable that they are stationary objects at ground level).
