I had a dog that me and my friend picked up on the side of the road. We named her charlie. She was dropped off after someone weaned her pups and didn't car for her any more. She was the sweeteist thing ever! The first time i walked her she was shy but then she wouldn't leave my side. She was good off leash and an amazing dog. i had to give her up to animal contral do to the fact i couldn't afford her and my dogs and cats. It was said but we got through it.

I'm really proud of you for spreading this message. I have like 9 dogs and almost all of them came from either the pound or we found them on the street, so it's great that you're making people aware of all of the homeless animals that just want to be loved. :)

why do people have to hurt them???? it scars them for life and all the people that care need to say something if the see a dog being abused or neglected because we are there voices and it does break my heart to see them in a tiny cage with about 5 or 10 other dogs in that same cage

I only have one dog now, but in 2007, I had two dogs. Miley is the one we just got in August 2007, and she's the one we still have today. She's 3 now, and she's a golden retriever. My old dog that I had's name was Maggie. She died in November 2007 and it broke my heart when she did. Golden retrievers usually live to be 12, but she lived to be 15 1/2! Maggie's birthday is on 7/7 and Miley's birthday is on 6/15. Maggie got very sick and my dad took her to the vet and she died there. ):

Awwww, I have always been such an animal fan since I was a baby. I have a black lab named Jett and he is just the biggest baby, he's so sweet! He's 8 and a half. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself the day he dies.

Somehow, I hadn't seen this video before. Just watched it and instantly went to the site on every computer in my house and my cell phone to click. Being a part of a family who has adopted our past two cats from the Humane society and our first four were strays when we got them, it's a video that hits home. I'll be putting this on my Facebook for sure.
It says you posted this a year ago today. I think this is the best video ever made. It's permanently on the top of my favorites list because it's about a person trying so hard to do what she can to help end to the needless suffering and misery of innocent life, its such a shame. I think you could make a great career out of this, by presenting vegan recipes and other lifestyle alternatives that helps animals, you could even do it on this channel, you could be CJ The Vegan Princess, no kidding.

I had to hear this song. I had an Australian Shepherd (my first dog, you can see his videos on my other channel) but sadly we had to rehome him, because he didn't get along with our cat. We only had him for two months (he's been gone for a week now), I really miss him, BUT we heard he we adopted within two days! A lady who has only owned Australian Shepherds adopted him, so that is cool! Makes me feel better!

A long time ago I met someone who had a friend who worked in an animal shelter and she was also a vegetarian. I felt bad about animal suffering, and became a vegetarian. Later I learned about all kinds of other advantages to the diet, that its much more healthy and it conserves natural resources. That may not be for you, some people believe they need an omnivorous diet. It is very touching though to me that you give a damn about life though, that's what makes you really great, to me. This song is beautiful. I am so glad that there are people like you in this world. If only there were more! The part about doing away with puppy mills really hit home for me. I recently had to put my dog to sleep. He came from a puppy mill and because they only care about money and not quality of life he was bred poorly and ended up with extra vertebrae in his back. His developed painful and un-fixable back problems. He was only 5yrs old.
this song is so sad, but so true.me and my family adopted my dog blue from an animal shelter a couple years ago and i remember walking down the hall where the cages r and everywhere i looked a pair of big sad eyes were looking up at me. pleading with me to take them home. it was heartbreaking. but now i have this incredible dog. well i dont even think i can call her just a dog shes part of the family now! i love her so much! and i believe that u will make a difference someday! this should be on a commercial! it reminds me of those sad ASACP commercials when they show those sad little animals. i've rescued my dogs and also foster dogs that need loving homes (about 10 dogs so far). I once had a foster dog named Eddie (a cute little terrier) that had a huge chain around his neck and had to live outside his whole life, but he was so sweet, playful, and loved to cuddle! Just last month he got a new forever home! They really do make the best pets!

Its very rare, but he made it! What we do is hold fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the animals at the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha,NE. One of our ideas was a concert! The song was beautiful CJaye, I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you coming out and speaking up about the homeless animals. It's terrible what's been happening with them. I too am crazy about animals and I think that we should find a way to get more and more people to notice these animals. I'm going to make a video, with the same website and hopefully we can spread the word a little more. A small note: I found a way to click more than once a day! I'm already at 36 bowls of food :)

awwwww!!!!! it's so sad that lots of animals are homeless:( I clicked on the link and gave 6 bowls of food to homeless dogs!!!! that is amazing! i can't adopt a dog because my dad works at night so he has to sleep in the day but me and my mom convinced him to adopt a kitty!!!

Awwww, I have always been such an animal fan since I was a baby. I have a black lab named Jett and he is just the biggest baby, he's so sweet! He's 8 and a half. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself the day he dies.

Somehow, I hadn't seen this video before. Just watched it and instantly went to the site on every computer in my house and my cell phone to click. Being a part of a family who has adopted our past two cats from the Humane society and our first four were strays when we got them, it's a video that hits home. I'll be putting this on my Facebook for sure.

It says you posted this a year ago today. I think this is the best video ever made. It's permanently on the top of my favorites list because it's about a person trying so hard to do what she can to help end to the needless suffering and misery of innocent life, its such a shame. I think you could make a great career out of this, by presenting vegan recipes and other lifestyle alternatives that helps animals, you could even do it on this channel, you could be CJ The Vegan Princess, no kidding.

I love this song!!!! It makes me remember when i first got my dog rex!! We got him from the pound!! He was in a dog fight and had and still does have some scars! But hes better now!! We think he was a watch dog cuz his name was shotgun!! But yea. this song makes me remember when i first got him!!

I had to hear this song. I had an Australian Shepherd (my first dog, you can see his videos on my other channel) but sadly we had to rehome him, because he didn't get along with our cat. We only had him for two months (he's been gone for a week now), I really miss him, BUT we heard he we adopted within two days! A lady who has only owned Australian Shepherds adopted him, so that is cool! Makes me feel better!

1. This is the best video performance ever, I've never seen such a combination of such a beautiful, talented girl showing such warmth and compassion on video.
2. the ultimate path to ending animal suffering would be becoming a vegan and perhaps establishing laws that would end all animal abuse and exploitation.

A long time ago I met someone who had a friend who worked in an animal shelter and she was also a vegetarian. I felt bad about animal suffering, and became a vegetarian. Later I learned about all kinds of other advantages to the diet, that its much more healthy and it conserves natural resources. That may not be for you, some people believe they need an omnivorous diet. It is very touching though to me that you give a damn about life though, that's what makes you really great, to me. This song is beautiful. I am so glad that there are people like you in this world. If only there were more! The part about doing away with puppy mills really hit home for me. I recently had to put my dog to sleep. He came from a puppy mill and because they only care about money and not quality of life he was bred poorly and ended up with extra vertebrae in his back. His developed painful and un-fixable back problems. He was only 5yrs old.

this song is so sad, but so true.me and my family adopted my dog blue from an animal shelter a couple years ago and i remember walking down the hall where the cages r and everywhere i looked a pair of big sad eyes were looking up at me. pleading with me to take them home. it was heartbreaking. but now i have this incredible dog. well i dont even think i can call her just a dog shes part of the family now! i love her so much! and i believe that u will make a difference someday! this should be on a commercial! it reminds me of those sad ASACP commercials when they show those sad little animals. i've rescued my dogs and also foster dogs that need loving homes (about 10 dogs so far). I once had a foster dog named Eddie (a cute little terrier) that had a huge chain around his neck and had to live outside his whole life, but he was so sweet, playful, and loved to cuddle! Just last month he got a new forever home! They really do make the best pets!

That was so sweet of you CJaye. You have a lot of love in you and it's so nice that you speak for these animals that can't speak for themselves. I'm with you,I sure wish there could be no more loneliness pain suffering with people as well as animals. Looks at those poor dogs,how sad they look. That was a nice song,I like how you're singing for them. I watch those shows on tv once in awhile on animal planet and it hurts to see them lonely or sick or abused. You're adorable my dear! :)))

I am a dog lover and animal lover too, I adopted my dog Star (videos of him on my page) 15 years ago...an hour before they were going to put him down. t-thats sad. we do need 2 spread the word about it. my dog he was from the Mother's Day Hurracan, and we adoupted him. It was sad because he had Parvo which most animales die from. Its very rare, but he made it! Pepole needs 2 understand that the anamle shuttles cant hold all these anamles. they lay them down. they only get a cartien amount of time 2 live. its very sad. plz dont take an animale 2 the pound try 2 find it a very good nice home. and thats a very good song 2

You had me bawling!!! This is such a depressing song but its so true! We need to find a way to stop this! Everything you say in this video is so true!!! I try to go to the SPCA whenever I can and walk the dogs but I get so attatched to all of them! I just wish I could take all the homeless doggies and keep them all and love them!!!

This song is probably one of my favourites, My dog jersey is my entire world, she was in a puppy mill and then the s.p.c.a , I rescued her about a year ago, My life would NOT be the same without her, I am paintently waiting to finish hair school so I can go rescue about 2 more dogs, this song is just incredible. I love that you took the time to write a song like no other...

I am a huge fan! About 2 years ago I started a group called the Aqua Dogs. What we do is hold fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the animals at the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha,NE. One of our ideas was a concert! We think that because you have a passion for rescuing animals combined with your amazing voice, you can help a lot.
