Recently, Darren's said he's writing songs about broken friendships in such a way they remind love songs and he likes the twist. I'm pretty positive THIS particular song is about the breakup of Savage Garden and even more precisely, he's addressing Daniel here. The song is my personal favourite, brilliant on so many levels. I think one billion 'likes' would not be enough.

@dynamojr, the album will probably still be electronic, most pop music is these days, but I know he has used lots of guitars, drums, strings and even brass instruments in the recording of it, and he has a great mixing engineer working with him on it now. Should be brilliant.

@dynamojr, the album will probably still be electronic, most pop music is these days, but I know he has used lots of guitars, drums, strings and even brass instruments in the recording of it, and he has a great mixing engineer working with him on it now. Should be brilliant.

Yes, Darren is gay. He's been married to his husband Richard Cullen since August 2007 - that's when he officially came out. But he did come out to SG, but I seriously doubt it had anything to do with SG splitting up.

darren wanted to sing and get his music out...when daniel i think just wanted to be more behind the scene so to say...even when savage garden was out...daniel didnt want to do the promos..he didnt like all of the fans and such...it was too much for him. i mean im sure he loved the fans but it was just too much. darren is still out making his beautiful music....and daniel is still writing and co-writing music while producing music. daniel has his own studio
