I don't think that u interpreted the video rightly. I think u need to look deeper. The Japanese don't seem to be making fun of tall women, they are actually in awe of them. The videoclips on YouTube of JTV shows prove it, they are not hostile and nasty towards them. It is almost like they have a bashful admiration of them. That is why the Japanese have TV shows like Amazon Eve, where they highlight and showcase tall women of all races and nationalities, because they are actually admiring them.

I'm 6'2" tall, and when I went to Japan, I could not believe how small everyone was. Especially the Japanese girls, riding on a subway was interesting, I could see from one end to the other over everyone elses heads.
In Canada or U.S. she might not stand out, but in Japan, she's really really stand out because she'd be so much bigger then everyone else, even alot of Japanese men.
