  • Okay......I have to agree to the fact that the man depicted in this documentary - the trespasser, holding the Bible, since he is praying and chanting - is NOT Brazilian.

Food for thought........if he is a "foreigner" in Brazil - perhaps from neighboring countries such as Paraguay and Bolivia why is he demanding land/property in a country that is not his?

    Interesting..........

  • This is the outcome when you follow the devil American Neo Liberal selfish policy face the facts Fish lip devils. The devil is on earth in Human form

  • All countries have their wounds. Some how my Brazil still suffers from poor quality of life of homeless people. However, we are improving ...

I firmly believe in change and creative capacity of the Brazilian for the better - much better. The simple people are very smart and after all we are one of the world's happiest nations. There is an ocean of challenges, but it was much worse ...

  • shame on brazil....

  • All those things happen in Brazil beacuse the politicians are the scum of the society. Kill all the politicians. Brazil is a rich country. We dont deserve to suffer.

  • enough welfare and work for alll if ur budget is less then the growing population of the country, the only way is to control immigrations, work for immigrants, and natality, and tis foreingner labour make part of tis G something am talking about to provide ENSLAVING LOW LABOURS and dispower the local citizens or population of the country, the way is to pay foreingner debts and try live by agriculture provide land and resources for all! n rely less on conditional foreigners help!

  • Bla Bla Bla. . . Filmem as porcarias do vosso país

  • This is so very sad. You can't have industrialism without socialism...If they want to be modern; they need to provide free education, and proper low income housing. Poverty creates crime, and greed creates poverty.

  • @Jamaari20 Agreed but... Socialism is something unpopular even among the poor. I'm a brazilian living in Japan, and often I hear my (literally) poor fellas laughing at how the Japanese execs are badly paid even compared to brazilian execs (for instance, Toyota's entire board of directors of 75 people combined earn less than Ford's single CEO!!) Now the twist: I know one Toyota worker whose daily job is clean up toilets and his salary is close to U$80.000 a year. No way to apply this in Brazil.

  • @CUMBICA1970 Well, the the us is working on a democratic-socialist-industrial system...sadly most people don't realize it. For example African-Americans lived in slums, and poverty, but because of voting right (democracy), laws were pass forcing Blacks to have equal access, (socialism), which allowed for better education, better jobs, which intern provided better living conditions. No system is perfect, but that is why people need to vote.

  • @killuinasecond Sorry. I don´t argue with paranoids.

  • Sounds similar to innercity crime in the U.S. It's going to get worse in the U.S. since the gangs/ drug dealers are moving to the middle class. It's not as bad as Brazil yet although there are alot of similarities but it will get worse than Brazil really soon.

  • What the hell is this guy on 18:00 doing there? He isnt brazilian. Theyre screaming in spanish...

  • agree, his surely not speaking in portuguese.. whats he doing in brazil demanding land.

  • @ELFELICIANO - There are an estimated 210 languages spoken in Brazil, Portuguese being #1, of course. From Wikipedia: Spanish is understood to various degrees by most Brazilians, due to the similarities of the languages. In some parts of Brazil, close to the border of Brazil with Spanish-speaking countries, Brazilians use a mixture of Spanish and Portuguese that is sometimes known as Portuñol to communicate with their neighbours on the other side of the border.

  • @BigMTBrain Im brazilian and I can tell you that theres no such mix of portuguese and spanish. My uncle lives at the border with Bolivia. Brazilians there speak a clear crisp brazilian portuguese. They indeed use portunol, while trying to speak spanish...Do some research about the role of he television and its soapoperas, series, etc, in the brazilian linguistic unification...

That man of the video screaming for a land is NOT a brazilian citizen. Im 100000000% sure.

  • @ELFELICIANO He's brazilian... do you know Spanish? there's a pretty big difference...

  • @anikurson Honey, Im talking about the guy at 17:30. What he speaks is a portuguese with a very thick accent. Spanish accent. He should be out of my country.

  • foda-se

  • thx journeyman for the work you do to show the truth to the world

  • @TheCrazynissOfAll Yes Brazil is a Big Country!

    Anybody can get lost!

Specially if you don't speak Portuguese!

This shit Journey is showing the things they believe is trues!

They have one true maybe somebody else has got another true!

Don't you people have enough problems in the UK and Afghanistan?

  • Brazil IS the richest country in South America. But it is ALSO the poorest. Why is it so rich? HUGE amounts of land, oil, and Amazon. The economy gives ass and gets more spare change than other countries, YET how much of it they actually give to the people is simply inferrior. Now, when you have some familys who are kept living fancy in some house 100 miles from a poor warzone where they at least HAVE cars... what you think, they aren't gonna drive over there to look for opportunity to rob?

  • the more inequality the more violence.

  • "the more inequality the more violence"

Then you should worry about your own country, since 1 in each 4 British are living below poverty line.

    Why don't you do that?

  • So, it doesn't bother you one bit that millions of Black & mixed-Race Brazilians are living in poverty, denied jobs, discriminated against in society & locked out of Brazil's economic & political phere?

  • ?

    What?

  • you're a moron

  • Really? Why?

  • According to the World Bank, income concentration in Brazil has created five types of social groups in the country: the indigent (24 million people); the poor (30 million); the almost poor (60 million); the middle class (50 million); and the rich (2 million). Brazil possesses a private wealth of $1.1 trillion, 53 percent of which is controlled by the rich. In reality, the average income of the richer is 150 times bigger than the average income of the poorest Brazilians.

  • "Thanks to a complex cocktail of economic gains such as the end of chronic high (at times hyper-) inflation and plummeting interest rates, soaring enrollments in primary schools and, more recently, plenty of well-targeted cash handouts going directly to the poorest households (bypassing wasteful welfare bureaucracies), Brazil managed to slash the number of people living on $2 a day or less from about 36 percent in 1992 to just over 19 percent last year."

  • "Now the gaping divide between Brazil's haves and have-nots, as measured by the Gini coefficient, is also starting to narrow. Brazil's fell by 5 percent (.59 to .56) from 2001 to 2006. So rapidly have fortunes turned that Brazil is being hailed by some analysts as an unlikely bellwether for fighting poverty policies worldwide"

Brazil and South America are THE ONLY regions which are narrowing the gap between rich and poor.

Exactly THE OPPOSITE of what your country is doing.

    Remember that.

  • credit to rafael souza.

    i agree with u mostly,parabens para falando a verdadeira!

i always hear such negative things about Brazil, but u must admit that there are some fundamental things that must change there.

you talk about Mumbai, Buenos Aries etc. but in these cities you dont have the same levels of violence u have in sao paulo. credit to what ur saying, im glad there are some people around who like yourself inform the rest of us it isnt so fucking simple like people think it is

  • Yes, please, don't get me wrong. I know we have LOTS of things to improve. But I think we should give credit when it's needed.

I understand that São Paulo used to be largely broadcasted as a terribly violent city some years ago in all foreign press.

I would love to see the same press bringing some news about how the murdering rates fell almost 80% in the last 10 years and is now practically in the levels considered "safe" by UN. But I never see this kind of news. ;)

  • I think rafaelsouzaasp79 is trying to hard to defend his third world country. He spends to much of his time on here on weekends. I don't even think he looked at the video on here. He claimis that Brazil is so much better then the US but obviously you look at this video and it speaks of a different tale. He's delussional another third world moron hoping his country could climb out of the shit hole an join the rest of the already developed nations. Maybe one day but not today my arrogant friend

  • How about your country? When will they join the already developed nations?

There are some 45 million poor people to take care before you can say that... ;)

  • a cultural and historic thing, brasil history is based on violence greed slavery, and lack of law but the problem is the same, theres too many people, have only one kid for family or none, people dont get that into their heads, like they can aford 10 kids cant even 1 educated ppl are against the wall theres millions of imigrants and the racist word is always present just for whites feeling bad and dont protest but this will blow up dont have more kids!!!

  • I see you're Portuguese. Well, your people taught us a lot, really. So shut up about the "culture background" thing.

Brazil born rate is about 2 per woman. Not 10 like you said.

  • this is what will happend soon everywhere, its not education or anything else. its just too many people, the world cant take this many, soon millions and millions will break into europe and usa, its already happening here, theres no jobs even for people with college degrees here there about 100000 graduates without jobs, and he have almost 1 million from abroad but theres alot more crime violence florests are being raped by poor people they destroy everything eat animals, this is the end

  • its called ignorancde and the thug american culture these kids copie, they feel being modern like the usa is being violent or bad, there are very poor parts were in portugal but there arent this kind of violence no way, its also a race thing believe it or not

  • Welcome to america latrina

  • In your eyes if someone doesn't agree with you then you call them stupid? When we are looking a documentaries in your own country that says otherwise? Are we to just take your word for it and say that oh no this is not true. I have been to Brazil and alot of this is very true but you have to be some kind of delusional nut case to believe otherwise. I mean we are watching a 25 minute documentary. So what are these just actors? They just made this to make Brazil seem negative? Come on man.

  • Dude you're on like every site that has a documentary on it or that exposes the truth about your country. Doesn't matter if its 25 or 50 fact is the US is only 12.5 percent with a 300 million population and Brazil is 25 percent with a 180 million population. Those are not numbers to write home about if you catch my meaning. Instead of trying to defend and devert from the truth why not put forth the effort in fixing the problem instead of trying to make people believe the problem doesn't exist

  • This shit is very sad but even saddier you have people that come on here to say oh all of Brazil is not like this and its only 5 percent. Try again maybe 25 percent of Brazilians are poor. But people get so sensitive even when a foreigner comes to there country and does a documentary to show you the truths of this place they are still in denial. Instead of fixing the problem they'd rather just say we are all stupid an not to believe what we are watching on here. This is why Brazil =3rd world

  • Stupid, of course all the countries have good and bad things, the fact is that the vast majority of the foreigners (mostly americans) think that Brazil is a country of prostitutes, blacks, poverty, slums, crime and many more shit. That's we are triying to correct. USA has crime, poverty, drugs and more like Brazil. Finally, if you believe the things that says this video, why you don't believe the GOOD things that many other videos about Brazil say? You only check the bad.

  • Why is it that when retards like you are confronted with the truth and facts in front of you that you can't help yourself but be compelled to throw insults because your big poor third world country is being exposed for what it is and not the paradise you want people to believe it is? I've been here and the only thing good about this place is some cool looking plants and some decent resturants nothing to write home about. Why so sensitive? The documentary looks good to me.

  • Even the US has problems but not on this level. Brazil still has a higher crime and murder rate then the US by far and now even kidnappings are growing higher. Instead of getting into verbal name calling with me. Why don't you just except the fact this exist and deal with the problem at hand? Wasting energy trying to deny it doesn't exist just exposes the problem even more. When a foreigner can come into a country and expose such things as this. Its time for you to take notice and do something

  • It's ok. Don't worry, Brazil is a country of blacks, prostitutes, poverty, crime, kidnappings......I will say nothing more. Good luck.

  • Whatever dude. I've been there and i can tell you its far from being a paradise like people are trying to tell people that it is. But believe what you want to believe. I don't live down there and its not my problem so i could care less. I just thought the documentary was a good one that finally showed some truth instead of beaches and nice hotels and pretty girls like some fools think to believe this country is all about when its not. Far from it . People need to do some research before going

  • ohh dont tell me¡¡ the fact is USA is the richest country and still is the most unequal and insecure among developed countries, you ignorant.

go back to usamerica to look at some cool looking plants or eating an hamburger...lol

  • Unequal she says? Black man for president. Salvador,Brazil 85 percent afro brazilian never has elected an afro brazilian mayor or has the whole country of brazil. Insecure? What are you actually trying to refer to. You're ignorant trying to assume alot of things about the US but you don't know what the hell you are talking about. We have 1.5 million Brazilians living here in the US. How many Americans do you have living there? Yeah i thought so. Insecure? Brazil had 500 kidnappings last year

  • Unequal she says? Black man for president first black man to lead a major country with a majority white population. Brazil has never elected an Afro Brazilian president. In Salvador,Brazil with 80 percent afro brazilian population has never elected a afro brazilian as mayor in its whole history period. Insecure? What in the world do you think of such foolish thoughts. Are you drunk over there? Did you fall down a flight of stairs and bump your head. You have never been here so stop assuming

  • I live in USA. Also 1.5 million of your countrymen live here to so they are eating those same hamburgers.LMAO! You are truly ignorant and clueless. Did you even look at the documentary? Did you see the little girl crying for help. Its not funny at all. Idiots like you are the reason why that little girl is out on the streets crying for help. Trying to say Brazil has no poor. It has the biggest slums in South America. What a bunch of fools to deny it when the evidence is right in front of you

  • lol i though brazil public education was bad, but seems yours is even worst... do you know whats the difference between developed and developing country??? my god...

secondly, you dont fool me, you have never been to brazil, who the hell told you brazil is 80% black.. theres no mayorities here. lol. ..

third.. your race obsession shows you have a clearly inferiority complex , im sorry for you... you must suffer every time you look at mirror.. bye

  • You know i always hear that from Brazilians when it comes to social inequality there. They have an excuse for everything. By the way it might not be 80 percent but that city is mostly Afro Brazilian and it is true that it has never elected an Afro Brazilian there. Maybe you're the one that needs some public education or an education period. You don't even know shit about your own country. Thats fucking sad woman. An i have been there but its not worth remembering to be honest with you.

  • Are the blacks in Bahia allowed to vote? YES, like any other Brazilian.

Are there black candidates running for politcs? YES, even though stupid foreigners like you keep saying no all the time.

If Bahianos didn't elect a black mayor or governor even though they're majority in that state... what do you have to do with that?

Go deal with the HUGE problems you have with the lack of equality among the black people of YOUR COUNTRY.

  • In Salvador no black has been elected mayor of that city in its history even though most of the population is dominately of african decent by almost 80 percent of the city. Huge equality? Don't make me laugh. You must be in a coma over there because we were the first first world country to elect and african american leader in the most powerful country in the world idiot. Call me when Black brazilians get treated anywhere near as good as blacks are treated here in the US. you know shit imbecile

  • Your president is a fucking sockpuppet, an attempt to see if the people all over the world start hating your country a little less. That's all he is, you stupid pathetic chesseburger eater.

You treat black people like shit, the same way you do with immigrants.

  • no we treat immigrants like shit because they come here and try to tear down our constitution and bring their shity flags into our great country and try to act as though they want to change how our laws and constitution is here. If you don't like it here then don't come here and stay in the third world shit hole you came from. Well sock puppet or not blacks have a bigger voice here then in any country in the world including Brazil with the largest black population in the western hemisphere

  • I live in Brazil, you stupid moron.

  • What are you the villiage idiot? Did i ask you if you lived there? Doesn't matter if you do or not a blind man can see there is alot of racial inequality in your country moron. You guys just try to hide it from the rest of the world but we all know the truth. LMAO!

  • Maybe. But you definetely can't see the truth about YOUR OWN COUNTRY.

You brainwash your kids at school. You are an example. So stupid you don't even know how's USA economy is doing.

  • LMAO! You know shit about our country you only think you do moron. there are hundreds of videos on youtube like this about Brazil so don't try to act like its paradise my friend we all know you're full of shit to even believe that yourself

  • go look up Race and Racism in Latin America: Brazil -25 Jul 08 here on youtube and you will see black brazilians are not even allowed to get onto the elevators and this is 2009. when i see an african brazilian elected president then i'll be impressed since it is the largest minority population in Brazil.

  • You government KILLS.

    Don't point fingers to Brazil.

You are the scum of the world and everybody knows it.

    Nobody hates Brazil.

    EVERYBODY HATES USA.

    And citizens like you are usually the reason.;

  • So ??? and what government doesn't? Who cares if you hate as long as you respect. No body respect your country. they go to your country to get drunk and play with the whores. I'm not point fingers but for fuck sake open your eyes because your country is far from perfect. Maybe you need to look at this video again so you can comprehend the meaning instead of trying to argue with me and deny it doesn't exist.

  • Who said your country is respected?

    Nobody respects your country.

Some people fear. Brazil doesn't. You'll fall.

  • What? if we wanted to destroy that shit you call a country we wouldn't even need to send troops. it would be some geek behind a desk pushing buttons and we take you guys out in a week. by the way how is that american Boeing aircraft factory down there supplying you worthless shits jobs?

  • And your point is?

Is there an American Boeing aircraft here? I didn't even know that. There are hundreds of thousands of companies here, the greatest part Brazilians.

  • Just to let you know don't bite the hand that feeds you dickhead.

  • Feeds me?

    LMAO.

You don't feed even your citizens, stupid.

    Brazilians feed themselves.

Your companies don't do any charity service here. They do business.

  • Ok and how many slums and beggers do you have on your streets in comparison to the USA? Remember you can't lie to me dick head i've been to your shitty country. Little kids begging on the streets. Does that jogg your memory. fucking idiots getting on tour buses with grenades robbing tourists. We hear the news over there and we seen those slums. Your country looks to be the one that can't feed its people. LMAO! do you need me to show you some videos on youtube about it idiot.

  • Also dummy i didn't say Brazil was 80 percent black i said the city of Salvador. Can you read? I've even given you proof and you still deny facts. Of course i know the difference between a developing nation and a developed and yours still has a long way to go before coming close to either.

  • yess, i can read, can you express your self?? no .. haha

still you dont know what a developing country is, my dear, brazil is MUCH better than other brics like china or india.

and i dont want to discuss this issue anymore, seems your comprehension is very short. ...

  • You Americans are the kind of fools who do NOTHING but deny the evidence in front of you.

You point fingers covered of blood of innocents. Wanna help the world? STOP declaring wars against 3rd world nations, for God sake. Are you so proud of living in a rich country? Well, then be more worried about how your government acts COWERDLY against poor countries ALL THE TIME to attend your citizens ganancy.

Better than keeping saying BS about countries you obviously don't know in the internet.

  • deny what? I'm not denying shit. So you're saying there is no racial inequality in brazil now? Get the fuck out of here. you are in dream land dipshit. I've been to your country and there is alot of racism in Brazil so don't try to lie about that. Of course every nation has problems but we've overcome alot in 100 years in race relations then alot of countries have. I should be proud that even though we have corruption its not as bad as the south american countries corruption. So i'm proud

  • UN figures measuring the gulf of rich and poor put Brazil 148 out of 150

  • Brazil is very bad. My god this city is worser the Philly(lol) You say only 5 percent i say 50 percent. This place looks in bad shape. I'm not even looking at this video all the other ones on the side are even more worse then this story.

  • 06:47 Afinal os Brasilixeiros é que são burros aqui está a prova kkk

Puxa burrinho puxa senão levas com a chibata kkkkkkkkkkk

  • And excuse me for I "judged" you without knowing that you're very informed person. The problem is that youtube is full of ignorant peopel that onyl write stupid things.

  • This video is of 2001. We are now in 2009. Today, the current poor population of Brazil is no more than 20 %.

  • I don't know if I buy that 20%. If 7 mil people are considered poor and less than one million listed as rich, the percent is higher. The one thing that needs to be updated is the crime rate. The random killing has dropped, but kidnapping is up. Brazil is a rich country with too many poor people.

  • For example a country 20 million people, 7 million are poor, 2 million rich and the rest are "medium", then the country is a rich country with many poor people. But yes, the current (2009) poor population of Brazil is around ~20 % of the total population. In the USA, the poor people is 12,5 % of the total population, so there's not much difference. Like people said: this kind of videos are really tendentious.

  • Well if you say ALL of Brazil, that is different than the focus was on Sao Paulo, where there is not even 1mil rich. Strictly following the lines of rich and poor, excluding the lower and higher ends of the spectrum, the numbers still are higher for the poor in Sao paulo than in the US.11% poverty rate is for ALL of the US.

I understand your desire to have Brazil shown in a positive light, but I think that crime, more than poverty will keep visitors away.Need to get the word out that its down.

  • For all Brazil the poor population is around 20 %. By regions, for example there are many poor people in the north and northeast region, but in the southeast and south region the poor population is very little.

"I understand your desire to have Brazil shown in a positive light"

Well, I don't understand your desire to have Brazil shown in a negative light. You cannot generalize. For example in Gávea (Rio de Janeiro) the HDI is greater than Iceland.

  • I don't want it shown in a negative light. I was just trying to communicate that I understand that I know that you love your country and want others to have all of the same positive feelings for it. It was not meant as a mean statement.

I was also trying to say that as a tourist, I am not not put off by poor people as much as I am by crime. People associate crime with Brazil more than the poverty. The dramatic increases in security needs to be talked about.

  • I was not generalizing, I was very specific in talking about poverty in the city of Sao paulo and not all Brazil. YOU said Brazil. The whole country is not impoverished. Believe it or not, I am aware of that.

Poverty is present in many places. Poverty does not make people criminals. Lack of hope can breed crime anywhere. Too little room to write everything want, but I hope you understand that I am not trying to be hostile.

  • Yes now I undestand you. Well, I think that the poverty is a very important reason to the people that are criminals, but another one is the drug traffic or traffic of anything. But you should that many of this traffic comes from countries like Paraguay, Colombia, Perú or Bolivia. In Sao Paulo less than 10 % of the population is poor.

  • Where did you got these statistics? More than 25% of the Brazilian population is poor and in São Paulo it's not different, I live there and see shantytowns all the way home and back to work.

  • You can check it in Wikipedia. When did you go out of Brazil?

  • I never did, I still live in São Paulo, the youtube profile location is just a joke about Canada's marijuana tolerance.

Look at this data: "the percentage of poor families has fallen from 35% to 25% within 2003 and 2008", maybe it got even better but I doubt it, Lula's assistencialism dupes statistics.

  • ?

São Paulo is the richest city in Brazil, what you say doesn't make any sense...

  • So what? Richest man in the World Bill Gates. Big deal moron.

  • It is the business capital of Latin America, but it still has a huge population of poor people. I have seen the favelas that surround the airport and rich area of murumbi, as far as the eye can see and the homeless families on the streets of jardim. The poverty in Sao paulo is crushing compared to anything in the US. I never finish a meal, because I save my leftovers for the street kids. I have seen homes where the maids are locked in by the owners. I have seen first hand, not on tv.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, I've been to many USA large cities and they really don't look that different.

"The poverty in Sao paulo is crushing compared to anything in the US." Huh? No, it isn't. Just go to some parts of New York and you clearly see that there are THOUSANDS of places in São Paulo which are richer, safer and cleaner, and with LESS homeless people... wanna compare Jardins with Manhattan? I don't think so right?

  • Where are these places you speak of that are safe in Sao Paulo? Why are you lying? You can't compare Manhattan to San Paulo. Of course Sao Paulo is bigger but there is much much poverty there then any part of Manhattan. What part of Manhattan were you at? Name at least a street or district. You might name some parts of Harlem but no way no how are they worser then anything in San Paulo you fool. Many Brazilians here say there is much poverty in your country and thats why they are here. LMAO!

  • Only central park has more homeless people than my neighborhood. And my neighborhood is in São Paulo downtown. ;)

And yes, Haarlem is WAY worse than many parts of São Paulo, friend.. lol.. WAY WORSE...

  • Way worse my ass. I have pictures of the slums all along your countryside and major cities that don't even compare to the worse in any of our major american cities. Sao Paulo is a huge toliet full of gang violence and crime so unbelieveable that it will shock those who think Brazil has come along way to see how violent and out of control things are there. So many homicides not even reported or murders not even solved there in your country

  • LOL...

I have many pictures of places in São Paulo which are cleaner and richer than many neighborhoods in New York too, INCLUDING the shitty Manhattan with its thousands of beggars...

    So what's your point?

  • An i have many pictures i took there as well with thousands of beggers including little kids all over the place begging for handouts and food and barefooted walking around that haven't taken a bath in weeks. An I have many beautiful pictures of new yorks famous north side gorgeous scenery cleaner then anything Sao Paulo has to offer. Maybe its time to bring a friend i know from Brazil on here to shut you up since you know nothing of my country and you think your country is so perfect.

  • I know your country. I know your cities. I've lived in USA for more than 7 months.

I know what I'm talking about.

Somethings in NYC CAN'T be compared to nothing in São Paulo. Wheter you like it or not. Simple like that.

Subway for example. NYC subway is CRAP. Licks the boots of São Paulo's subway. ;)

  • So you know everything about the US in seven months. Shut up you fool you don't know shit. An SAo Paulo subway is shit. Its so overcrowded and the traffic is ridiculous way worser then New York cities. The food is crap there no where near the level of ours. The theaters and broadway shows are the best in the world. There is nothing you can't see or do in New York City and i'm not even a big fan of New York and i know that. You just hate uSA so no matter what comes out of your retarded mouth

  • São Paulo subway is shit?

It's considered the best in AMERICAS... It's far more cleaner, safer than NYC. It only lose to some few European subs...

It is considered one of the best in the world...

NYC subway is universally known as CRAP.

  • Well i don't ride the subway i drive a car so whatever. The other cities i named Sao Paulo can't touch. I'd put Las Vegas up against anything you guys have and its a desert city and it would beat the living shit out of anything you have there times ten.

  • São Paulo is considered one of the world's capitals of gastronomy. It has a more varied range of restaurants than New York.

Some of the restaurants in São Paulo are oftenly considered among the best of the world...

See... I'm starting to think you've never came to Brazil... everybody KNOWS São Paulo's strenghness is gastronomy, idiot... EVERYBODY.

It's one of the city's mottos: THE INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL OF GASTRONOMY.

    So... shut up

  • Ok clown let me see you lie now. How many people visits Sao Paulo. Also idiot you know this video is talking about Sao Paulo right? Good god what fucking rock did you climb out of. Yeah it looks oh so beautiful on this video. LMAO! If you want beauty go to Honolulu,Hawaii or where i live Orlando Florida or if you want to be around rich and famous Los Angelese and Miami or if you want everything including some of the best gambling casino's in North America if not the world go to Las Vegas.

  • This video shows ONE favela.

It's 0.0000000001% of São Paulo city.

Do you really want to make this kind of pathetic comparison?

Compare ONE FAVELA to tourist points of American cities?

    Please... stop being stupid.

  • Yeah right thats not whats being said in the video dipshit. They said Sao Paulo moron. Wake up and stop making excuses. Please stop being stupid we do have a video to watch to prove you're lying. LMAO! So do you wear a bullet proof vest when you go out? Oh thats right you haven't went out of your house yet because you've been on here like the villiage idiot on youtube all day and night. Whats the matter my friend? Are you afraid to go outside?

  • How old are you? 4?

No arguments left so you've started childish provokes?

    Grow some balls...

  • LMAO! hey i'm having fun over here catching you lying all over the place about your shitty third world country. I find it hard to argue with a moron such as you when we have a video right here in front of us to prove what you say is shit.

  • Me lying?

    LOL

As far as I see I've only corrected YOUR lies, pal... clear as the water...

  • what lies have you corrected? as soon as i proof you wrong you jump to another subject. An you have no references to back up anything you say so its all opinionated nonsense. Oh thats right you said your facts are from the UNO. LMAO!

  • Yes... and you said that your government is responsible for measuring Brazilian HDI...

    How stupid is that?

  • No i didn't dipshit. i merely said the US pays 80 percent of the UN funding. You can make any conclusions you want out of that but i'm sure the HDI facts are accurate because i've been to Brazil and seen that appauling shit you have there and actually they did you a favor ranking you as high as they did.

  • Any Brazilian beach is FAR more beautiful than any one you could have.

Brazilian beaches are the most famous in the world and Rio de Janeiro is called "The marvelous city" worldwide... they have a reason, moron.

No one considers any American city more beautiful than Rio... sorry.

  • No sorry Ipanema Beach ranked 7th and South Beach Miami ranked 5th and Poipu Beach,Kauai,Hawaii ranked 4th and the number one beach was Clifton Beach,Capetown South Africa. Sorry you lose again.

  • South Beach Miami?

    Poipu Beach?

    Kauai?

Do you really think these beaches are more famous than COPACABANA AND IPANEMA?

These beaches were imortalized by composers, musics, movies done worldwide....

Please... nobody has ever heard about your beaches...

Brazil = best beaches ever. That's what the world thinks. ;)

  • Well thats not what they are ranked at. I don't give a shit who composed a song on them or did a movie on them they are not the best and they don't rank better then ours or do they rank number one asshole. thank you and have a nice day. you are free to get on your bus back to moronville now and keep off idiot avenue.

  • You may not give a shit. But everybody KNOWS Copacabana and Ipanema... nobody could barely say in which countries are beaches as Poipu (?) or Kauai (?)...

So... no, they aren't more famous, for sure.

  • Forbes ranked them idiot. Alot of factors are measured in when ranking beaches. Crime being one of them which drops you guys down. Beautiful clean water. I haven't seen anything you guys have that comes close to Hawaii not even waves for surfing can compare.

  • Oh, please... Fernando de Noronha, Maresias, São Sebastião all kick Hawaii's ass...

They have crystaline water... better places for practice of surf in Southern Hemisphere... get some information.

  • Dude you're full of shit. Any surfer can tell you the real waves are in hawaii. an by the way i'm not making up the rankings Forbe Magazine did stupid. I know you're full of shit because only the Pacific ocean makes the highest and most dangerous waves on the planet. Nothing in the Atlantic comes close so yeah dream on dick head dream on.

  • Every year many people from your country come to southern Brazil to surf... so I guess you're wrong...

  • How many fool? How many americans come there? When i was there i hardly saw any americans but alot of Europeans so stop lying.

  • After Argentinians, Americans make up for the majority of the tourists... so, yes, many of you come every year, to know our beaches, to know São Paulo attractions, to surf in Santa Catarina and even to practice sexual tourism...

  • I don't think so buddy. hell alot of americans don't even own a passport so i'd doubt they'd come there for there first trip and plus you need a visa on top of that. So please show me a statistic that shows this and not just another opinion.

  • Embratur (2007) - Federal Tourism Agency:

    Argentina - 920.210 (18,31%)

    USA - 699.169 (13.91%)

    Portugal - 280.438 (5,58%)

    Italy - 268.685 (5,35%)

    Chile - 260.430 (5,18%)

  • yeah those most be the beaches for the sissies like you to go practice. I don't need to go to those beaches maybe my little sister can go surf there. LMAO! I go where the real waves our and i don't have time to waste hoping a good wind comes along to surf like there. those small little waves i've seen on your beaches are pathetic. I bet you couldn't even surf on waves over 20 feet. I'd buy a ticket just to see your pathetic ass drown from the riptide LMAO!

  • By the way where are the surfing world champions usually held at? You guessed it Hawaii because they get huged waves of up to 20 to 30 feet and on a mild day 15 feet. That water you guys have at your beaches looks like everybody took a shit in it all at once. They took divers out there on some of your beaches to see about the bull shark population and it was so dirty they had to go 30 feet down just to see anything towards the bottom. Not so in the Floriday Keys or Miami beach or Hawaii beaches

  • Why don't you talk about the Hamptons? LOL... I mean... do you consider that crap "beach"?

Our beaches are just fine. That's the reason everybody knows and enjoys them. This wouldn't happen if our beaches looked like everybody took a shit all at one, stupid... did you want to offend me? At least do it right.. .lol

  • The Hamptons? WTF? No i have a picture and i'll email it to you so you can see for yourself how shity your beaches look and how gross the water is. I didn't even go into the water it was so pathetic an dirty and the waves so small like five foot waves and guys talking shit like they can surf. I'm like oh my god you guys are fucking clowns. I told them if you come to Hawaii you'd fucking drown surfing like that. They were struggling against five foot waves. What a joke.

  • You're a very imaginative guy...

Problem is that we have a "emissário submarino" (beach sewage system), so no, there's no shit in Rio's beaches, since some decades ago...

  • Nobody has ever heard of our beaches? LMAO! They do whole shows on famous beaches on the travel channels. Maybe nobody there has because third world countries wouldn't know about elegant nice beaches. Your water looks like someone shited in it. Its not like the gorgeous emerald green and light blue waters on south beach Miami or in Hawaii. Come on don't make me laugh at you some more. You're like a big human joint but i don't have to light you up to get a good laugh.

  • Nobody knows your beaches. Everybody knows the Brazilians. Sorry, you're in denial. That's a fact. You are the only ones who thinks that have a famous beach, LMAO.

Emerald green beaches? That's what we have the most, stupid... LOL.

  • You say "I never finish a meal, because I save my leftovers for the street kids."

Well, do you keep the habit of not finishing your meals and delivering it to the people who lives in the streets of THE FUCKING UNITED STATES? You should, you have thousands....

    Why don't you do that?

You say "have seen homes where the maids are locked in by the owners"...

Have you gone to the police? This is considered crime and any Brazilian would do it.

    ASSHOLE.

  • Don't tell me you don't see these things in your own country? just like you don't see that Brazil leads second in south america for kidnapping and they are number one in the whole western hemisphere for homicides. Oh come on now please tell me my delusional friend where have you been all these years. now you're trying to compare Sao Paulo to Manhantan. Oh please you make me laugh you little monkey. Why don't you go outside and play now and stop making me laugh.

  • Sorry... do you consider Manhattan a DEVELOPED place?

    Seriously? Do you?

    hahahahahahahahahahha

You are the delusional... poverty is VISIBLE everywhere in Manhattan, stupid.

  • An so is poverty very visible in Rio,Salvador and Sao Paulo. I'm not saying poverty doesn't exist in the major cities but when i'm seeing tin shacks along mountain sides and all throughout your cities you can't be serious to sit here and speak this bullshit like it doesn't exist. Wow you are a stupid fucking idiot if you believe that. Manhanttan has everything in it and although i'm not a fan of big cities its way better then anything in Brazil by far.

  • Actually, I think Manhattan sucks... specially for their people. Terrible.

São Paulo has everything in it and it's much better place, IMO. Even some newyorkers I've met found that. ;)

  • I'm not a fan of Manhattan and i think Sao Paulo really sucks. good cities i like are Seattle and Orlando and Miami and Chicago and Portland and Jacksonsville and Denver. Nice cities that thousands of foreigners come to visit. Hey my friend let me ask you. If Brazil's cities were so beautiful then why aren't you guys ranked in the top ten? hell the top 20? and why is the US ranked 3rd most visited. An you want to know what cities are visited the most in the world?LMAO!

  • The European cities are the most visited for sure.

  • Boston-721,000 arrivals Chicago- 721,000 arrivals Washington DC 901,000 arrivals Las Vegas 1.3 million arrivals Honolulu Hawaii 1.6 million arrivals San Fransico 1.6 million arrivals Orlando the city i live by 1.8 million arrivals Miami 2.2 million arrivals Los Angeles 2.2 million arrivals New York City 4 million arrivals If what you say is true then why so many people come to visit these places then? they must not share your opinion.
  • Perhaps they don't. I'm sure that Rio de Janeiro is a much more beautiful city than any of these, FOR SURE.

And I think everybody in the whole world thinks the same...

  • yeah right maybe the beaches thats about it.
