  • Lol. My bipolar driver is doing 0.33 rpm max :D (And I am trying to make it faster)

  • I'm thinking of trying to make a microstep motor but i have no idea what is involved or how to go about doing it.. My question is, how slow can you make these motors go? I want something that is less than 1 degree per second, or maybe even slower.

  • Did you ever find out the answer to your question? I am trying to figure out if I can make a stepper motor turn 1 revolution per day (or per year, or even slower)....

  • Why dont you just stick a reduction gearbox on the ene of the motor to make it go that slow, you can also 1/16 step a motor, why do you need it to go that slow anyway?

  • Most stepper motors will turn 1.8 degs at a time. so you can make it step 1 deg per second but it would be very choppy. the best way to get slow rotation is to use a gear head.

  • good job

  • it is so fast !!!

  • Hey hey,

Are you using the MicrostepPLD Driver in this example as well?
