Many thanks for the upload of this unusual video. Really interesting for me as my Dad and I worked with veneer when I was in my 20's and we used the off-cuts from a local veneer peeling mill. They would inject a stand of part of a Forest they owned with dyes of different colours and we hal everything from the wonderful honey to the darkest blacks and made furniture for ourselfs amd relatives. Thank you for bringing back those memories!
