Yup...in need of a rebuild alright. Needs ramps, rollers, possibly pins. Would be a good time to change the primary spring if you've got more than 2-3 season on the current one. Also check the bushings on the spring cup and sliding half. The spring cup's themselves will eventually wear grooves into them over time. If your clutch has been running out of balance long, you might need to replace it as well. Prepare to drop a few buck on it, but your sled will thank you ind the end.

When rollers are worn like that do they make a very loud clicking noise when you start it up and while it's idling? Because my clutch has be rattling pretty bad and I'm thinking it's the worn rollers. How much does it cost to replace them also? Thanks.
Any ideas? My sled (1997 vintage) seems to have a hard time engaging the driven clutch and holds at 4000PRMs when it's hurting. Throttle feathering helps but when you are stuck it's tough, thoughts?
another thing that might make your clutch niosy is the bushing in the middle that slides on the inner shaft. if that is a lil worn out like your bushings i would put money on it that it is to. and those thing your not sure on what they are they are called ramps. i went threw this same thing on my 01 summit 800. but mine had the hell clicker in it and when it went bad it took the the weight and put it threw the outter hub. if it worked good b4 leave the spring alone.
HI. Did you post this question on Dootalk? Had someone ask this same thing a few days ago. Usually this would be caused by the primary clutch bolt being loose. Might not be able to tell by looking because the inner govener cup may be sliding off the shaft a bit so would appear the bolt is tight. My torque spec was 75 ft lbs i believe. Another possibility could be that somebody put the wrong arms inside the wrong clutch when trying to rebuild. There are different lengths.
Thanks for the comment. They were all set to 5 but i was having problems keeping top RPM down so i set them all down to 3. But they have all been set the same since i have owned the sled.
