Great video my man, good topic and considerations. Something in here really hit me; the part about what YouTube is, and what it used to be. I had literally forgotten that it was meant as a place to give motion and sound to the previously static faces of the social side of the Internet... that it wasn't always a place to "see your favorite TV shows, but smaller and blurrier." I didn't have a cam before, and then I wasn't into pirated TV, so I just forgot that this is really what it's about.

You can't worry about what other people think. I think I understand you and I know what kind of people you're refering too. Attempt to please everybody and you will fail every time. Just being happy with onesself is challenge enough.
This reminds me of a cartoon i saw. A guy with a dog was talking to another guy, saying,"Don't you know who i am? I am from the internet."
internet clicks are only going to matter to those who use the internet. And it's never a big deal to those who aren't part of it. It can branch out if it's big enough, but other than that...*shrugs*
And yes, people are scared to heck about copyright infringement and all that. Can't say anything without needing permission from a copyright owner it seems. :(
yeah, i know. but it just seems so archaic that people haven't gotten into the internet. it's like the only place you can really function. no offense to the old-fashioned but computers are "now" and people at my job that can't do any single thing on a computer ticks me off. only because i figure adults should have some type of computer literacy to make it in the world today, but some don't seem to care.

for me youtube is about the community, which i'm sure *is* becoming more commercial... but ne way i get blank faces too, and i *am* a technology/computer geek... i too have been on youtube a lot here lately, and my b/f recently said i need a new hobby already LMAO...
well, you have a friend here. my wife says the same thing. now, only a mother would say "as long as it makes him happy i'm all for it". that's what moms say and moms are always number one in my book:) you take care and be good. see ya..
haha. yeah, i would rather them not see my vids, but some of them do and they're always talking about it at gatherings like its a show. i deal with it though.
I know what you mean about the blank faces. I have friends who think I am a computer geek. My boyfriend/fiance says that I am always on Youtube. I find it more interesting than regular TV and the everyday people just don't get it. I do find myself reading less and doing less artwork. I love the logitech by the way. I bought a microsoft that doesn't work very well and it was much more expensive.
yeah, me and my wife got into a big argument about me going to 777. she wanted to go and my argument was you've been yelling at me about being on this site so much for the past year, now you want to join in.

I would too. I have had so many problems with the Microsoft one. No sound all of a sudden or it freezes. So, more expensive isn't better. Oh, by the way I took a video of this spider the size of a tarantula. Wait until your wife sees it! It freaked me out big time!
Crossland is too deep for me.. lol makes videos at 4 in the morning, tired eyes, rambling on about his philosophies and theories, i just dont get it. Having said that, i know what u mean.. i dont know anyone personally who posts youtube vids, maybe a couple who watch videos occasionally. I dont really like getting too deep about youtube, analysing why ppl do it etc. Maybe cause i dont actually post vids myself
well, i just subscribed back to him yesterday. i had never really "subscribed" or followed him. he was in another world. no offense to him, but i just didn't "get" him or his method of thinking. theboringdispatcher had like a six vid series of vids interviewing him in person. he(ian) was kind of down to earth but i still didn't receive him. this is his first normal video i've seen...
haha. me too. well i did this webite called blackplanet back in 98' so i was messaged out. i go on mypspace everynow and then...but youtube is the best! this is like a live telephone:) i love it! thank for commenting...:)

they don't understand what it means to post videos on youtube about yourself. they just don't do that. not the type of people that would vlog. absolutely no one i know in the real world puts videos on youtube. it's weird. my mother just understands that its something i love so she's okay with it. as long as its safe. gotta love moms...they're not surprised now though but they don't look at me for what i do. they just think i'm crazy. lol.

haha...i had to bring a lot out of me. that was a very personal thing i had to do...for myself. i was proving a point to someone but i fought with myself about whether i could play a role like this in a movie if ever i had the chance. i think i can now...
Sweety, being gay isn't a bad thing... I know for a guy it can be an uncomfortable thing, but as long as you're secure with yourself, you can pretend to be any type of person! I hate the use of labels.. all labels... whether they be for sexual orientation, race, etc..., but if acting out a specific difference of yours helps your security with it, then it's all the better!
i know, but of course i have to deal with the way i came up. new orleans is such a testosterone driven city, with guys always pretending to be macho. i wasn't too much that way, but acting gay in a video will kind of toy with my manhood. i'm very secure but i know how i came up and how some of the people i know(not buddies) would receive it.
i don't care, but it still goes on in the back of my mind. the video is still public, so i guess i haven't succumb to the frustration yet:0) i'm at the bartender..i love that song:) lol. sorry that was random.
I understand the testosterone thing.. My Dad alienated my gay brother for years, he just couldn't accept that his son was gay.. he tried to make peace on his death bed, but I don't think the years of damage were repairable. (RIP Daddy).. Try to think of it this way sweety.. if the worst thing someone could think of you was that you're gay, then you're a truly BLESSED man!
