I see you backgrounded 4 or 5 services during boot ;) That speeds up a little bit, but I still prefer not to put "@" infront of my services in rc.conf :) (the difference is maybe a sec, two the most...)
Nice. I want one of these EeePCs, they look tight. I will most likely install Zenwalk or Arch on it, maybe Slackware. Did you compile your own kernel or just use the stock one?

If it's that fast with KDE and Compiz Fusion, bloated to the max. Wonder how fast it'll boot with pekwm and xcompmgr.

In this movie, I used the kernel26-eee which was specially built for eee. With stock kernel you can't get such fast boot.
