Never owned an SUV. Only Caddy's. However, I am switching to Mercedes S600. We did buy a Lincoln as a gift, and we will probably consider an Audi 8, however no more Government Motors for us. Sad, but can't respect what they have done to the dealers and the bond holders. Ford is doing ok, and I believe they will be ok in the future as well. I bought a huge chunk of Ford stock at 1.78. So today, I am very happy with Ford.

It's truth time for the American buying public. Are YOU going to buy another 11 MPG SUV just because its on the lot, its shiney and the dealer says you "need' it? Hope not.

Never owned an SUV. Only Caddy's. However, I am switching to Mercedes S600. We did buy a Lincoln as a gift, and we will probably consider an Audi 8, however no more Government Motors for us. Sad, but can't respect what they have done to the dealers and the bond holders. Ford is doing ok, and I believe they will be ok in the future as well. I bought a huge chunk of Ford stock at 1.78. So today, I am very happy with Ford.

The old GM is dead. The new GM is like the NEW COKE. It isn't liked or wanted!! Cash for Clunkers is going to Toyota, Honda, Ford because that is what people want to buy. GM & Chrysler did not respect the bond holders or the dealers. I will not honor them with my money. No more caddy for me!! Obviously I am not the only one to feel this way, based on sales alone!!!! Maybe one day when Ford buys GM I'll reconsider, but not before then!

ya ppl go to those crappy brands imports brands because they want mpg like me and several others we want hp's and mph's not mpg. i only have driven chevy's and dodge's and have had them for several yrs and zero problems my 87 iroc-z camaro with 27k miles i havent had a problem at all with her and my 02 dodge durango i also have or had zero problems

I've only driven Caddy's, until this year. However, the Crappy brands you are referring to are technologically advanced PLUS they are made 80% in the United States PLUS they do not have a greedy UNION!!!!! Just look at how Americans are deciding to purchase these, "crappy" cars in high #'s. They are quality and affordable cars. GM and Chrysler will learn a thing or two about that!!!! Maybe one day Ford will buy GM at a hell of a price!!! I may then consider going back.

ya ppl buy those imports because they want mpg and they all want a small car. gm and chrysler owners dont give a shit about mpg and small size most want a ethier huge suv or truck or they want a fast as hell sports/muscle car. i will NEVER buy a imported vehicle and if i had to it would be a benz thts the only brand i dont mind because they dont make fart can ricers like honda. but if i want a fancy car i'll stick to gettin a caddy but actually i'll stay with my 02 dodge durango and my iroc maro

it fuckin sucks but i guess i wont even be buyin to many new cars in the future im more of a classic/muscle car guy not into fancy new cars like for performance i'll buy a new caddy cts, definte escalade platnium, new vette zr1, 2011 z28 camaro, charger srt8, chrysler 300c, and some others but i'll mostly be buyin classics like some 69 camaros and mostly chevy's. ya i'll be gettin the money from drag racin

I am against pushing any car in the water period. did you not understand my comment? its directed at the guy in the video who requires 10 friends to help guard his car - he doesnt say what he drives. smart cars are expensive, not the greatest mileage for the size & potentially dangerous in a crash. the danger may not be the smart, its likely the idiot in the other vehicle.

At least the Smart offers the occupant with a roll cage to protect them from the impact along with some very well designed airbags. You need to do your homework before you open your pie hole.
