FYI, the take off was wrong:) I have been stationed on ships in the Coast Guard, and here's how it goes: The helicopters always leave to the left. The ships put the wind 15 degrees at 15 kts on the port bow. The reason is that because of the way the blades turn, if a helo had an engine failure during take off, it would go to the left, the ship would break to starboard. This is standard throughout the USCG on all Medium and High Endurance Cutters.

@valkyrie321 Microsoft Flight Simulators (FS9/FSX) have really shit physics, but there are some aircrafts with a not so bad flight dynamics.

But This is the worst flight dynamics i've seen!

Hmmm. I'm not sure, but it sounds like you may need the SDK installed. It is best if perhaps you visit the Aerosoft forums. They might be able to better help you there.

@valkyrie321 I also had the SDK error and have not been able to get it fixed. Aerosoft Forum is horrible and I have gotten no help. Sucks, it could have been pretty cool!

If you purchased it from Aerosoft, you can go back online and retrieve your code at any time. I myself rarely keep the codes for the products I own because my account tracks them all.

i know but i forgot my account because i reformatted my computer which deleted all my info and what not so i tried to find out at aerosoft but no luck

Just enter in your old e-mail information with a lost password reply. Once you have your password, and your e-mail address, you can get all of your old information and keys back. If you have further questions, e-mail Aerosoft.

By the way, sharing keys is often considered elicit information gathering, and as my channel is an official video channel, I rarely allow such things because it is typically pirates that are trying to get this information.

Nobody should ever share keys. The software can lock down a legitimate account for this kind of sharing, thus keeping users from being able to access said keys. You paid for the key, keep it safe and back up the information.

I can't quantify any of this, as I haven't used helicoptors in X-Plane. However, you can taxi these helicoptors.

From my experience, and I do have quite a bit of it FSX is rubbish and X-Plane is considerably better but if you want to get really realistic then DCS: Black Shark all the way

The mechanics in X-Plane are just as screwed up as FSX. It is like an Apple versus a PC. They are just screwed up differently.

that carrier is the LHD 4 (Long helicopter deck) My aunt was on the LHD 8. i dont remeber what the name of the LHD 4 is.

Ive trying to make a Coast Guard Movie in the Bering Strait and Ive been looking for something i can use to put people and sinking ships in the water and what used in the movie is exactly what i need.

i think it os one of the missions and they just did that with that helicopter instead of the EH101 and did the other shots in free flight

Yes, this is one of my favorite helos for Flight Simulator. For the cameras I used a program that you can Google called EZWalk.

The X version is made specifically for FSX, however this package for the most part is available with some caveats for both FSX and FS2004.

You have to utilize alpha channels. You can do this in part by making .psd files in Photoshop and importing the files into Vegas.
