Thank you for uploading this. I was looking for a good acoustic version of Psychopomp so I could learn how to play it, and this version was instrumental in that aim, as well as being a fantastic recording of these two songs.

He comes to Perth every 6 months or so and usually always plays at the Fly By.. I remember attending this gig ! He never gets boring. Truly an amazing musician.

i saw the armada a few weeks ago in adelaide, met jeff got him to sign my guitar and got a free single for the new armada album :D was amazing. (it was an 18+ show so we got in for free the next day saying we were his cousins) best experience of my life ive been listening to him since i was born i couldnt believe it.

I count myself extremely lucky to have seen the tea party perform live quite a number of times - including seeing this performed. I also had the pleasure of studying under Ritesh for a few months and seeing him in concert a few times with the Toronto Tabla ensemble. I guess you don't realise how lucky you are until you're half way across the world where they will probably never tour heh (England)

Both amazing songs, too bad there's no music video, or other video that I could find with the original band for either/both. It must've been amazing to work with him, as a percussionist or soundman, I bet he gives off a powerful but relaxed tone, huh? Man, I wish I could've seen one of Jeff's or the whole Tea Party's shows. How many opportunities I've missed and regreted :(

Requiem never had a video for it made, and Psychopomp did originally in Canada but I have been unable to find it on youtube. It was recorded from a live in studio in Toronto's Much Music building with a string quartet. I believe it was included in the Illuminations DVD. I'll need to take a look through mine and see if I can find it.

Doing sound for this man can make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, I even choke up a few times, extraordinary talent....

Those two shows will always stay in my memory as the very best of a live show. Intimate, intense, overwhelming on so many levels. We were honoured to be a part of it.
