Right now, if you go to amtrak40th. com (take out the space) and go to the store, they are taking pre orders for Viewliners in the Phase IVb paint scheme that will be available in November. If you want Viewliners that are in the phase IV paint scheme, you can find them on eBay every now and then.

@oickler I no longer have these cars. Like it says in the description, they have all been sold off to private bidders. However, Walthers/Amtrak has just announced that they will be making all of these models in this phase IVb paint scheme. They will be available in November. Check out amtrak40th. com (remove the space)

Also are those P42's renumbers from the Athearn Collectibles old run of what???

@RFandPRailfan I custom painted the whole consist except for the P42's. And yes, they are renumbered. I put rubbing alcohol on a Q Tip and lightly removed the originals (44=132 and 139=25). Thanks! And I wish you the best of luck. It took me about two years to round this all up. I had to get them all individually off eBay whenever they showed up...and they are very rare. And from what I heard, the P42's are no longer being made due to a revoked license for painting the phase V.

@CSXKid5016 Yep no more P42's in phase V, I'm getting mine re-motored, super-detailed, ditch lights installed, marker lights installed, and a speaker put in. No sound with the speaker because there isn't any good P42 sounds get.

@TrainDr101 Lol thanks! I have to agree. I am constantly watching videos of model trains that are totally inaccurate. I dont skimp on quality or accuracy. Its a pet peeve. I see it on simulator videos too.

I know..But I dont currently have any track the size to fit the whole train on. We are in the process of designing a room that we will be adding on to the house to be for the layout. However, when the rolling stock and locomotives arent having pictures taken of them, they are broken up into the yard which is on track...just not long enough for the whole train.

Gosh!! You're lucky!! I can't find a budd baggage car, a diner, or (the hardest to find of all) those viewliners!! Did you get them off of ebay or something? I'd LOVE to know, that way, I can finish my Three Rivers consist and my twilight shoreliner! Also, I'd love to see those in action!! Trinityct.

Thanks! Ya those took me the longest to find. I got this whole consist off of eBay except for the Cafe. And I will be sure to post a video when I get them on a layout. The prices for the baggage and Viewliners can get very high. I saw one Viewliner go for $150.51 once. A baggage for $79.00. My viewliners all changed in pricing. I got these three anywhere from $37.00 all the way up to around $60. My best recommendation is to go on and look everyday. And also, look for sets. I got the baggage car

@CSXKid5016 Thanks for the advice! I just got my viewliner sleeper in the mail! Those are really hard to find! I was lucky and found it on a hobby site and bought it at about $25 dollars. The shipping made it roughly $32.

in a set with a Budd Coach and Sleeper. But it wont necessarily say baggage in the title. Same with Viewliners and diners. So just look hard.
